I've added an "In Progress" fanfiction to the appropriate sub-forum. It charts the adventures of the other 00s in the section, starting with 001, Michael Halt. You'll meet his secretary, his contacts and sources in the field as well as the threat that he has to deal with.

 

He is a very different spy to the main 00 that we all know, he has his own techniques, beliefs and particular set of skills that Bond dislikes using - you'll see what I mean in the first chapter.

 

As I say, it's a work in progress, the second chapter is worked out, and a rough draft written - but I'd like people opinions, both positive and negative so I can get a constructive idea of what people think.

 

If popular, when Halt's story is complete, we may even meet the other members of the 00 section.

 

Currently the time period of the story is ambiguous.

I'm all for the other Double-O's. Anxious to see what you come up with. BTW - In my own world of fan-fic, currently, there's never been a mention of 001, so I'll be anxious to meet him. 

 

Michael Halt - Great "flat-craft name" as Fleming would say. I imagine the mere yelling of his surname cause many to react in such fashion. That can lead to whole canon of innuendo or actions. 

 

i.e. :

 

001: "Once I locate the leak, what action would you prefer, Sir?"

 

M: "Put a Halt to him...Permanently."

From reading chapter 1 (very entertaining by the way), I´m gonna go ahead and guess that Halt doesn´t always get the girl.

Like it very much! Nicely done and good flavor IMO. Some good details and Halt is clearly the Double-O against type, yet determined. Single minded purpose works well for any spy. Look forward to the balance.
