The clue is in the title! Which non-Bond Dalton film do you consider your favourite?

Guilty Pleasure has to be Flash Gordon! Come on, how can one man camp it up so much, but yet still be credible? My favourite film roles? Hot Fuzz, one of my favourite films ever and he's perfect in this. Oh, and not forgetting...

- THIS!

Agreed as well. Although I think my favorite Dalton role is that of Alexei Volkoff or Hartley Winterbottom on Chuck.

I haven't seen a whole lot of Dalton's work outside of Bond, I must say.  I really liked TOY STORY 3 and thought he was great as Mr. Pricklepants.  I also saw THE ROCKETEER way back in the day but don't remember much about it other than I thought that it was a good film.

Although it's not a film role, Dalton's work on CHUCK is probably my favorite of his.  His portrayal of Gregory Tuttle / Alexei Volkoff / Hartley Winterbottom was legendary as far as I'm concerned.  Brilliant work.

And Wuthering Heights. The man knows how to smoulder with resentment.

How did I forget Rocketeer?!? His Neville Sinclair was a classy villain and the high point of the film for me. Also, the first time I saw him play against type - "James Bond as the bad guy?!?" I remember saying to myself  :)

Like I said, it's not a film (so I guess this is going against the spirit of the thread, sorry), but this scene from CHUCK is one of my favorite Dalton moments and a big reason why his turn on that show was just so brilliant.

I guess I should say that there's a pretty big SPOILER in the clip, but it's been 4-5 years since this episode aired, and everybody already knows that Dalton played Volkoff anyway, so I don't feel too bad about posting it.

Yes, that. Can't think of too much else I've seen save The Rocketeer and Hot Fuzz, both of which are OK but Flash Gordon is art.

Hawks is a great movie and Dalton is exellent in it.

If you have the chance, please watch it!

A beautiful story about two terminal patients in a English hospital. One (Anthony Edwards) has lost all his hopes, but the other (Dalton) tries to chear him up with all kind of unexpected things and ideas.

After a while he comes up with a plan to escape from the hospital and have a vacation to Amsterdam! A hilarious and emotional story.

HAS to be the most bad-ass, womanizing, deceptive and skilled Prince in the entire universe....

...the only man who swears multiple times in a family friendly film and who rocks a mean moustache...

...the character who blends Rhett Butler, Indiana Jones, Lando Calrissian and James Bond into one...

...Prince Barin of 'Flash Gordon'!!

The only thing I've seen him in where I liked his performance was in "The Sittaford Mystery" episode of some Miss Marple-Agatha Christie telly series.

I couldn't agree more with Grard Bond on Hawks. Saw it after TLD came out and would love to see it again. Takes a serious subject matter and makes it uplifting without being manipulative. Well worth the time.

Dalton is even reunited with his TLD co-star, Julie T. Wallace/Rosika Miklos.
