If you were a member of a highly secret terrorist organisation on the scale of SPECTRE or Quantum, would you really wear your membership with pride?

I know this is suspension of disbelief, but would you really identify yourself with a Q pin or a Octopus ring?

One thing about bad guys, in the movies and in real life, is that they do like people to know it was their idea. In real life, terrorists use social media to boast about what they plan to do/have done, so I think it's the same with the evil organisations in the Bond movies - they like to show off.

It's like when Bond tells Goldfinger that he enjoyed his briefing. Goldfinger replies "So did I". The briefing was almost as important to him as Operation Grand Slam itself.

I'd only wear the Quantum pin if I was a member whose last name started with Q  B) Say it's a conversation piece!

It's comforting to know that, in Thunderball,  not only does Fiona Volpe proclaim that her SPECTRE ring is " a ring I like to wear", but she's also careful to remove it before she has a bath.

Now THAT'S dedication.
