Fellas,

 

Am I missing a trick with this?  When I click on the Quote button, I used to expect the post to be quoted in the white text box, under which I would then type my usual rubbish.

 

Currently though, clicking the Quote button takes me to the white text box but nothing has been quoted.

I've noticed this while using Internet Explorer, which has become nearly impossible to quote with unless you click the "switch" icon in the top left corner of the reply box.

 

That's the only browser I've seen the issue come up on, though.  It's always worked for me on either Firefox or Chrome.

The Reply box is the white text box into which I write standard replies??  Top left, once you start writing, is a BBCode Mode icon which does whatever it does.  That said, nothing else.

 

What am I missing?

Hmmm. I tried this now with Safari on Mac and IE and Firefox on Windows, but I didn't have any problems. Anyhow, I'll forward this to the tech staff...

 

I do have problems with quotes on another forum (the German Bond forum). When I want to quote there, it often happens that it takes a while until I see the quoted text in the reply box
 
When you click on the switch button (you're correct, it's the top left one), it'll switch from WYSIWYG mode to BB Codes mode.

In WYSIWYG, you can do your formattings and everything just by clicking one of the buttons, in BB Code mode, you have to enter the code by hand.
