Hey guys,

Thought you might like to see my video giving you a tour of James Bond Island from earlier this week. The post comes complete with stills from the film for comparison...

My goodness.  The island is a veritable circus now!

I went in '91-2 when all they had were single engined boats that really weren't speedy, but mainly the island was Completely undeveloped.  There were absolutely no cement wharfs, food places, toilets, tables and trinket stalls and I basically had the run of the island with only four or five others.

In such isolation, it was utterly perfect.  One didn;t have any problem identifying the landmarks such as the beach to the rear where Miss Anders was sunbathing at the beginning of the film.

That said, thanks for the vid.

I went in 1999 and it was pretty quiet then. There were certainly no toilets or anywhere to buy food but there were a few stalls selling T-shirts and other souvenirs.

I would be careful about using any railings there.
