As with last time, there's sure to be lots of Twitter/blog reports once filming is out and about publicly.

There's a couple from this morning to get going. Very unconfirmed though.

"First day of filming on the new Bond film Spectre here in Camden. Daniel Craig is two floors below me in the basement fighting baddies..."

Not quite sure what the floating platform is being used for or even if it's relevant, but for anyone nearby, it's Camden Lock, outside the Holiday Inn hotel.

Sure the social media posts will get better over time!

Are there basement car parks there? They could be shooting a version of that scene from Live and Let Die if there are.

Ahh..good to see that the London locations will indeed be more than just interiors at Pinewood and a few exterior shots around the city (I'm sure we'll have some sharp-eyed reports coming in soon that may spot some of the crew around London.)  :)

That's a decent idea.

Maybe Bond's garage? A scene in a flat and him taking his car?

Now it feels real. I just loved the London location shots from Skyfall, looking for more of the same here.

FIRST LOOK! Bond 24 SPECTRE Film location report - FYEO POTENTIAL SPOILERS

As we did with Skyfall - when we heard, via our sources that the Bond production team were ramping up for the first on location SPECTRE shoot outside of their Pinewood Studios 007 Stage. We immediately dispatched one of our top men - Hemingford Grey to the scene, keen to hear what he could uncover.

As it turns out quite a lot (I can't get him to stop talking) he has sadly taken an oath of secrecy on some very exciting bits but he certainly did not learn enough to give any indication to the larger world of SPECTRE. I should warn you even though there is much wild speculation in and amongst what we know reading this may - potentially spoil a very cool scene from SPECTRE. Over to Hemingford.

Nice report guys, I remember the Establishing Shot from last time around now. Great to see more pictures of the preparations. I might have to nip across town at some point to see what I can see...

Very interesting that they seem to be replacing some of the buildings via blue screen.

I've been down to Camden Lock, and there's a very large floating rig in the canal. Signs say the towpath will be closed on the 16th or maybe 17th December for "an event", so I think that's when we can expect the filming. I'll try to post a couple of photos later.

Indeed Shrublands... Sort of like how the Shanghai hotel pool in Skyfall was actually shot at some hotel in Canary Wharf (I think??) but they blacked out the windows and replaced the scenery with the city of Shanghai.

Even though it is clearly just preparation, it is great to see stuff like this. Can't wait until we get our first official still. I remember being quite thrilled with our first glimpse of Craig (stubble and all) from SF.

More pictures from Twitter user Wolf:Mode below. As it's one day shooting, I'd be surprised if it's really a big action sequence. My feeling is they'll be using the small river tunnel which is seen in some of the photos linked to in Hemmingford's post further up the thread.

Nice pics old boy! Perhaps it's being set up as some sort of subtle entrance off a main body of water leading to (dare I say?) a certain lair. Not as cool as a hollowed out volcano, but you know what I mean.

You´ve got something there ggl. Good thinking. It does in a way resemble a portion of the Tiber, especially the dreadful color of the water ;)

I'll see if I can find out exactly where.

Express article helpfully refers to the new Bond film 'Spectrum'.

Wonder if that's, as I said when first released, where the Clapperboard photo is set.

I really don't like the SP abbreviation
