Hi all,

I recently rewatched TLD. And I realised I always have the same question but never took the time to get an answer: what saying does Bond refer to when he says "We have an old saying too, Georgi. And you're full of it."? Not being British, hence not knowing every traditional saying, I have a general idea of what's it about but I can't find the precise quote.

Thanks for your help.

He's referring to an often used curse word that literally means excrement.

That's what I thought also, but I wanted to check with native speakers.

So, basically, it's not a "saying" as such, but just one word? And here I was wondering all these years what the saying might be...

Anyway, thanks for your enlightenment guys.

Yes, it's a slightly mis-phrased script line.

The saying would be: "You're full of S***".

Pam Bouvier fleshes out the 'saying' a bit in LTK, after Q tells her that "Field operatives often use every means at their disposal to achieve their objectives."

Haha, indeed.

In addition, Roger Moore has a similar line to Scaramanga near the end of the film.
