Sorry, there's no title yet.

BUT as soon as we have one, the discussion about its meaning shall start.

The reason I'm opening this thread now is quite simple: I'm on to something.

A location scout (who used to work on Skyfall) lists a location library on his website. The library is divided into folders of different objects  - and projects. One password protected folder is called LDLF. Asking him what this means, he said those locations are ideas for an upcoming film. Fortunately the folder wasn't protected until I contacted him, so I got a look at those ideas and know the scouting was done in the beginning of this year (one subfolder had a date).

Because everything could fit (and he doesn't have another folder entitled B24 or something like this) my guess is LDLF is very much the acronym of the next Bond film.

Any ideas what it could stand for?

Very interesting, but were the scouted locations where we know B24 is being shot? And how likely is it that he had a title back when he scouted the location? Or that he would now have it? After all, he's only a location scout.

And can you share the link with us so that we can check it ourselves (yes I know it's locked now, but still...). Failing that, does this location scout have a name?

No joy on that thing where Skyfall's name got blown last time, then? i.e checking to see what web addresses Eon have registered lately. I don't know how that chap did that last time.

I'm sure they'll have made sure it isn't possible this time.

I'm thinking they'll go back to either a Fleming title or a Fleming-inspired title, probably Risico or The Property of a Lady. I'm thinking we may also finally see Shatterhand get used, either as the title of Bond 24 or 25. It's too bad that The World Is Not Enough was wasted on such a poor film....

That acronym potentially fits a worrying number of words which I think should be banned from Bond titles...

- Live

- Die

- Dead

- Love

- Forever

For any aspiring web types, LDLF.com, LDLF-007.com, etc are all still available if anyone fancies taking a punt!

I smell something fishy..." And I'm not talking about the contents of Baldrick's Apple crumble!" - Capt. Edmund Blackadder.. Lol.. Hmm.. It could be this film, but then again Bond 24 could coincidentally have the same title.. Skyfall also happens to be the title of some fiction novel which has nothing whatsoever to do with Bond.. Hope this is the case..

LDLF could possibly be an acronym for Bond 24's title, it could also be a working title and/or fake title/acronym until they reveal the real one. Christoper Nolan has been known for now the past decade to use completely unrelated titles as the title of his film during production to keep everything secretive, perhaps EON is doing the same thing or something similar.

It could also be something completely unrelated to what I have just written and I am just over thinking this :P

Italian and now Mexican locations, and probable wish to have even a tenuous link to original Fleming material - my money is on "Risico". Not my favourite title from the short stories, but then again at first "Skyfall" wasn't my favourite title from the made up stuff. But it grew on me.

I'll assume it's that short film and sleep better.

Did you see anything that connects with known Bond 24 locations? Rome, Austria (or Norway) Morocco.

Oh, bugger, that might be it.

I can't tell anything against it. The locations seen are all London which might have well appeared in a Craig film (high end apartment at river Themse; brutalism housing…) but also in a low-budget UK movie.

So we're at zero again.

I have to admit, I'd really like this title to be used one day. Death Leaves an Echo also sounds quite good to my ears as well.

Homer's reaction is pretty much what we're all going through as we eagerly await the press conference / press release... The key is patience..not an easy thing for me as we get closer and closer to the commencement of filming! :)
