Not looking to good for Salander at the moment. I'm still hoping with the fourth book coming out in 2015, they'll make the sequels and the 4th book into a film. 

 

I been thinking lately maybe the series would have been better off as a tv show. I think each book has enough for a 10 episode season.

 

THE GIRL WHO PLAYED WITH FIRE graphic novel comes out next month and they decided instead on releasing it as one book rather then 2.

There is a great Swedish tv 6 parter [each 1,5 hour long] covering the three books. And it is a great show.

Yes, I saw it twice on TV here in Holland. It was exellent.

That's why the American movie was not necessary and I'm not realy interested in more American versions.

I don't think these films are going to happen.. I mean Craig will be busy with Bond and I would hate for him to drop out of this.

I think that the time has come and gone for the American version of the series. The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo was a good movie, but at the same time I've never really found myself really anticipating a continuation of the series. I would like to see Craig and Fincher work together again, albeit on a Bond film rather than on a sequel to TGWTDT.

The problem also is that it seems that Craig is not realy an actor who's name only draws a huge audience to the cinema.

It was redundant and boring; something of an achievement given the subject-matter. Moment's passed.

I still can't figure out why they made it. I have nothing against re-makes, but given that the original was about 2 years old and the Craig version brought little new to the table, ( and didn't exactly set the box office alight) I can't see there being a sequel anytime soon.
