In my opinion, Daniel Craig is one of film's most talented actors today, and am I the only one who thinks he should have already, and will end wining an Academy Award at some point???
Is Daniel Oscar worthy?

I thought he should have been nominated for Casino Royale. He was great in that film, even if everything else around him could have been much better.
Outside of Bond, he'll have to be more selective in his roles if he's looking to win an Oscar. The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo was the only film he's done since becoming Bond that really had much Oscar buzz leading up to its release, even though it ultimately fell short of the expectations that many had for it.

Agreed.
I guess the one thing that generates Oscar wins is... to shamelessly endear oneself to the Academy members, doing endless rounds of dinners and visits, always smiling and shaking hands with everyone.
I don´t know if DC wants to do that.

Daniel is a very good actor and deserves an award, but the Oscars wouldn't know anything about great filmmaking if it wacked them in the face. This is the same awards ceremony that felt that Citizen Kane didn't deserve best picture, but Driving Miss Daisy did.

To be fair, "Citizen Kane" was considered a masterpiece... decades after its release. Back then, it must have felt like an edgy, interesting piece by a young filmmaker who wasn´t part of the Hollywood community.
To consider the Academy Awards as a guideline for cinematic excellence must disappoint. It is a guideline for who is popular within the special circle of that particular group. As every award is, quite frankly.

Daniel Craig definitely could win an Oscar but he needs the right role in order to do so.
