AT the end of this site, (link provided, won't let me post up picture) is a poster from Variety claiming "James Bond properties acquired including SPECTRE for feature film".

ANyone know about this picture seen in Variety, or "Paradise Film Productions". It seems thatthey may have gotten the rights of SPECTRE from McClory, or at least are claiming, perhaps to create a rival spinoff.

"Paradise Film Productions" was McClory's own production company. McClory's own base of operations was in the Bahamas.

Years ago I subscribed to Variety, in no small part because in the pre-web days it was one of the few sources of info about Bond films. I remember this ad. I may even have cut out the page and tucked it into a folder. I can't swear to it, but I think this was one of McClory's last (post-NSNA) efforts to make money off his Bond rights. I suppose he'd given up trying to mount another production himself and was trying to license them to other filmmakers. But my memory could be fibbing to me about that. If anyone has surer information, I'd love to know it.
