Quite simple really. I was born in 1978 so the first one out after my birth was Moonraker. That was easily one of the first ones I saw.

Star Wars had taken the world by storm the year before I was born so there was a lot of sci fi stuff around in my early years. I remember Buck Rogers in the 25th Century and Battlestar Galactica on TV and lots of space set adventure cartoon shows. Seems fitting that the first Bond film out in my existence was the space one!

What about you?

I was a young teen when "Dr. No" was released, though I didn't see it until two yeas later.  The first Bond film I saw was "Goldfinger," in February, 1965.

I was born in 1962 - the year of the Cuban Missile Crisis, which, if it had gone the wrong way could have brought a promising life (mine!) to a premature end, along with millions of others. Also the year that John Glenn orbited the Earth, and, sadly, Marilyn Monroe departed it.

And it was the same year that a certain film series well known of this parish started with "Doctor No". But it took me eight more years to catch up with it!

I was born in 1985 so I proudly have 'A View To A Kill'.

But it would be 12 years later before my first cinematic 007 adventures was to be had in 'Tomorrow Never Dies'.

Hah, 1969 - so OHMSS.

But my first experience with Bond was TSWLM.  Sir Roger therefore has constructed the image of Bond which introduced me to this world.  And, being a kid at that time, I enjoyed the humor immensely. So I would not mind having more tongue-in-cheek again in future Bond films.

Born in 1962, so Dr. No.

My first Bond experience in the theater was YOLT in '67.  All I could remember later was the opening scene when Bond punches a woman (or so I thought) and the scene with the shark when Bond was using the re-breather.

I then saw OHMSS upon its release opening weekend and was hooked!

Born 1977, but late enough that that The Spy Who Loved Me was already released, so I'm saddled with Moonraker!

The first Bond I saw in cinemas was 'Goldeneye' (as I would only have been 12 when LTK screened) - which was a fantastic experience, enough that I saw it a few times while it was screening. I was already a huge Bond fan due to the books, and the films having been in high rotation on TV in the UK during my younger years. I have fairly strong memories of From Russia With Love being on one easter, but probably only as we recorded some other film to VHS that had trailers for it.

I was born in 1976, so mine would be The Spy Who Loved Me.

It wouldn't be until 1983 that I was to become a lifelong Bond fan. My dad was extremely excited (himself a huge fan) at the prospect of having two Bond movies out in one year. We watched both Octopussy as well as Never Say Never Again twice in the cinema. By the time A View to a Kill was released I had already seen every Bond film made up until that point.

GoldenEye. It took 5 years for the damn thing to arrive. My mum did say though, that she saw Licence To Kill before I was born and I did kick to the Bond theme.

Born in 1983 so the year Octopussy came out. The first Bond I saw though was TSWLM and just fell in love with the character of Bond as a kid and was scared rigid of Jaws' metal teeth and method of killing people! Of course it helped growing up with a mother who not only loved the Bond films but worshipped Roger Moore. He was my first Bond and I just have the happiest memories of watching his adventures whenever they were on TV with my mam. :)

Lol wow I'm surprised to see so many people here are elders and have seen Bond for years. My first Bond film was Die Another Day I can only vaguely remember some parts the parts that stand out most to me was when he had the sword fight and the scene with his car invisible. I can't remember if played Goldeneye before I saw it. I'm going to dedicate my life to watching all the Bond films I will see them all until I get old or they stop making it. Here's to another 50 years.

DAF was the first in my lifetime, luckily though not my first exposure to Bond.

Anyway, it's always fascinating to me when a topic like this brings to light the mix of ages on here.

ABC Sunday Night movie in the early 1980s.

Diamond s are forever. I was 1 so I didn't get to see it in the cinema. Not my favourite Bond but it was ok.
