IT WILL be a case of 00-heaven this weekend as the newly-appointed curate at Holy Trinity Church poses as James Bond in the city's Festival of Motoring.
Rob Budd will dress as the secret agent in the classic Jaguar XKR - from the hit film Die Another Day - as a congregation of 500 classic cars make their way through the city centre on Sunday.
Holy Trinity Church will play a key part in the parade thanks to the help of their youth band, choir and congregation.
And the theme and message of the service on August 25 is to be super heroes and James Bond.
“It’s a huge compliment to the Festival that Holy Trinity Church is getting involved in this way,” said Gary Hall, chairman of the festival.
“I know that Rob has only been in office a few weeks and is a terrific sport for joining in as James Bond and he gets to drive the XKR into the bargain.”
It comes as the Coventry Festival of Motoring returns over the August Bank Holiday Weekend.
Admission is free with a £5 daily car park charge. Visit festival-of-motoring.co.uk for more information.
