Best Gunbarrel Music

1.) GoldenEye: I remember watching this particular Bond film at 7 years old (I know, I was introduced early), but the thing that really stands out for me even to this day is the gunbarrel music: it's so 90's in its 'electronica' influence, but it's startling and dangerous.
2.) License to Kill: can't get enough of this one, it's so off-kilter and unsettling but sets the perfect mood for the film. Kamen does a great variation on something that's so familiar.
3.) For Your Eyes Only: funky and disco-tinged, so very Conti!
4.) Live and Let Die: perfectly encapsulates Roger Moore's Bond for a new era: love the Barry-esque bongos and "wah-wah" electric guitars that Harrison uses to good effect. This one really makes a great impression.
5.) Goldfinger: WOW. Probably the best Connery era gunbarrel pieces as it gets right down to business - brassy and definitely in-your-face!

I kind of like them all. I know that sounds pretty corny, but it's true. If I have to narrow it down, it's; TWINE, TND, Goldeneye, Goldfinger, Moonraker.
I also really like the TLD homage of the gunbarrel that occurs during the "assasination" of Pushkin. I loved that. Something not seen again until Casino Royale, but that was more delibrate. I'd love it if they could work it into a movie again.

I'll always consider FYEO's gunbarrel music as my favorite. Some may call Conti's use of cowbell cheesy, but I welcome it!
My dream gunbarrel would be OHMSS' (LOVE that gunbarrel - Lazenby's the only one who drops to a knee, which makes more sense than just turning to shoot!!!) with FYEO's music.

As for me (the order is entirely coincidental) - GoldenEye, Licence To Kill, Diamonds Are Forever, Live And Let Die
