Looking further ahead: when the time comes that he retires from the role, how will his "era" be regarded?

If you could change anything about the Daniel Craig James Bond for Bond 24, what would it be (multiple options available)

Foreigners. The furr refers to the feeling of your tongue when awaking in a gutter somewhere around Temple Bar. Or a breakfast at McDonald's...

Healthy figures of approval there. Currently over 90 per cent of the votes are in favour of Craig's comeback, remarkable.

Thanks a lot for translating this idiom. No chance I would have got it.

Votes in. Honestly I was not a fan of Craig at first. However after Skyfall and rewatching his films I have reevaluated his performance and definitely feel he is a solid Bond. Looking forward to his performance in Bond 24.

I agree but if Craig knock's it out of the park for Bond 24, I won't have any shame saying Craig is the best Bond ever. CR and Skyfall are two of the best Bond film's since Connery's First three Bond's. QOS for me is underrated, flawed for sure but that's not down to Craig who gives one of the best Bond performances ever. He's made the most successful Bond film and given Bond something it hasn't for decades a critical acclaim.

Maybe not the best ever, but certainly my favorite.

Next time? More hair, less baggage.

Definitely more jokes, Singing? Why not.

I went with

1. Approve but not the best James Bond

2. My opinion stayed the same

3. A success with big shoes to fill -- however, at the moment, I don't think those shoes will be all that big to fill. I think the producers will be able to find a solid, suitable replacement when the time comes.

4. If I could change anything for Bond 24 it would be: flippancy/jokiness increased, this time it's not personal, and well-groomed.

It would've been nice to vote that Craig need not change a thing without have to concede that he's "scrumptious."  How about adding "Leave him alone, he's Bad Ass as it is" as an option?  ;)

Just watched 'Skyfall' at home for the first time, in glorious HD courtesy of the Sky Movies HD package my mother decided to buy for Christmas.

He...I mean...isn't he...He's the best James Bond ever. I've been watching the films since I was four, I've read the books...I...right, well it's just an opinion, but every time I watch any of his Bond performances I'm blown away by all of the specific tics he injects into the character. The casual tossing of things like the keys in Casino Royale and the laptop in Skyfall, the almost excessive amount of swagger he throws into his walk, the way his eyes seem to be a character in their own right...

The speech he gives Severine in the Macau casino scene is as close to Fleming on screen as I've seen and regardless it's just a terrifically acted scene where I was drawn in entirely by the dialogue and the atmosphere rather than typical Bondian gimmicks.

I'm sure some pretty young thing will come along and do the job well enough eventually, but I sincerely hope we get Dan the Man for at least the one more quality Bond flick he deserves.

Exactly what I voted for. Craig is a great Bond and we've had the back story, soul searching and re-introduction of characters from the Bond universe now so I'm hoping his next film is a good old fashioned Bond adventure.

I said that I think Craig is a really good bond with shoes to fill. I also said that the next Bond actor should have longer and it should be brown. Other than that I love Craig.

And be well dressed and well groomed almost all the time!

Hard to disagree with any of that. He really is a perfect mix of Connery's swagger and Dalton's seriousness. It's said all the time about various different roles, but the next Bond really does have big shoes to fill.

It may be a bit longer in Bond 24, but I can't see them having anything too different from his previous films.

It needs to go back to the length that it was in Quantum of Solace.  I think that Craig looked his best as Bond in that film.

I too have voted. I had him as approved - very much so - but I wouldn't like to say yet that Craig is the best Bond ever. I have him level with Connery. And someone else might come along in future and be better than both. Plus, I like that Bond fellow in the books, too.

I also have the Connery and Craig eras level, even though they are decades apart. Funny how my favourite eras are the "bookends", at least for now. But the series shouldn't stop when Craig leaves the role.

My opinion of Daniel Craig as Bond didn't improve because of SF - it was very high anyway, it just confirmed it.

And whatever happens, I'd like Craig to emerge from Bond 24 in good shape for Bond 25, or even Bond 26. He should go when, as he once put it himself, his knees give out! And I hope that's a good while yet.

At the very least, I'd like him to be in top form for both 24 and 25 so he can match Sean's original run.

No matter what happens next, Craig is a top three Bond for me, after Connery and Moore. Those three truly made the role their own in my opinion.

Just watched the trailer again. Dare I say he looks better than he did in CR. Definitely hoping for two more after SPECTRE now.

That's what I'm hoping for as well, at the very least.  I'd be more than happy for Craig to continue on well into his 50s.  Since they're doing his tenure as a more serialized tenure, I think it would be interesting for Craig to continue on and then have to deal with the whole aging issue and possibly the mandatory retirement age from the novels (which we're obviously beyond, but they could make up a new retirement age).

Great idea. And people are working longer in every field nowadays.

I definitely agree with everyone regarding hair length. It was WAAY too short in Skyfall and just made him look old and more like a bouncer than a gentleman. I just thought that short style was such a strange costuming decision, and very unBondian. Craig's hair was okay in CR but at its best in QoS. Thankfully, the teaser trailer seems to indicate that the hair is a bit longer for SPECTRE, if not quite QoS territory.
