Chorley businessman hosts 007 fundraiser for cancer kids
A Chorley businessman and his partner are to host a James Bond-themed charity ball in support of a charitable foundation they have set up.
The Bromley Foundation was set up by Michael Bromley of Tunit and his partner Joanne Redman.
It supports children suffering with a rare form of Bone Cancer (Osteosarcoma).
They will be hosting the charity ball on the May 3 at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Manchester.
The purpose of the charity is to raise funding and support the children's cancer trusts.
Michael and Joanne, who live in Whittle-le-Woods, set up the Bromley Foundation in order to remove the middleman and ensure that 100 per cent of the proceeds go directly to the cause.
Michael said: “A mystery celebrity magician is booked along with magicians Paul Goodman and Colin Green, who will be bringing their own brand of close-up magic to each table. There will be an array of live music acts include Surely Bassey, B3, Judith Ude and Emma Wells.
“And a James Bond theme charity event isn’t complete without a casino, which will include black jack tables and roulette. There will also be attendees from the sporting world and television.” Tickets for the charity event start at £99 per person and are available by calling Tunit Diesel Performance on 01257 274100, emailing [email protected], or visiting www.bromleyfoundation.org.
