What fun - like a child with a new toy I shall probably smash it enraged but I've noticed that the Poll function provides the opportunity to run multiple choice (albeit only a few questions at a time).

Accordingly, might be amusing to do a wishlisty thing of ingredients for Bond 24 - with obviously a freeform option at the end, upon which by all means expand in the thread here. If there are enough votes we see a film begin to take shape...

Do remember - you can choose more than one option per question.

If this seems like a goer, I'll think up some more categories. Apologies for slightly unimaginative suggestions.

Thanks to multiple options, Bond can be both played AND not played by Daniel Craig (flashback scenes with Young Bond), the principle female role can be a villain AND end up with Bond at the end in a romantic clinch AND die (can't wait for that scene), and the villain, Vladamir Aquamarine, can be a male AND female AND young AND old (split personality). :)

Some interesting ideas, and some interesting combinations of ideas.

I went for:

Bond:

- is played by Daniel Craig
- ...clean slate
- personal office is shown

Principle Bond Girl:

- ten years or more older than Bond.
- not involved in espionage
- dies
- is killed as an incidental result of Bond actions

Principle Villain:

- has nothing to do with the intelligence community
- is older than Bond
- is male
- has some physical incapability...
- is non-Caucasian
- has an exotic pet

Great idea for a thread, and use of the poll. Too many selections to list them all, but there are plenty of imaginative options to flesh out a pretty good idea of those three main roles for BOND 24.

I love a good poll!

Well I've gone for:

Bond:
- Played by Daniel Craig
- Gets a clean slate
- Adopts an alias
- Sticks to his job

Principle Bond Girl:
- Roughly the same age
- Is a professional
- Ends up with Bond in a romantic moment at the end
- Played by a bit of an unknown

Principle Villain:
- Older than Bond
- Is a female
- Has nothing to do with the Intelligence community
- Appears in the first hour
- Faces off against Bond in a sport/gambling event
- Doesn't lower herself to fight Bond personally

Lots of ideas floating around my head now..!

I'll do one for Plot, Locations and Car(s) shortly but due to the forum upgrade / breach of the firewall by Mr Silva, I can't yet.

I have, though, thought on my sins. I like 'em. Not really sins, more "opportunities".

In BOND 24 James Bond

- is shown eating grapes from the navel of a woman

- is shown drinking bubbly from her shoes

- kills her with the champaign bottle afterwards, revealing that

In BOND 24 the principal female role is

- also the villain's henchman

- who is in reality a deranged former 'fan' of the film series with a crush on Craig and a heavy neurosis because of his late coming-out and self-hate for his persistent sexual fantasies of Craig/Bond

BOND 24's villain is

- a free-market entrepreneur (working under the devious company name 'Whitewater')in secret intelligence, terrorism/counter-terrorism, torture, blackmail, stamp-collecting,

- and so good at all these that his outfit becomes a valuable asset during one or several SIS operations, seeing the villain's organisation working closely with SIS and Bond

- at the final operation to bring down Quantum

- whereupon the villain offers Whitehall to take over all of British Intelligence for a snip, a quarter of what the whole embarrassing club costs currently, efficiently forcing the cabinet into sacking Britain's finest

- a plan that is only questioned once the villain gives a TV interview, during which his German accent becomes ever heavier

- and asked after his future plans for the private intelligence sector repeatedly mentions "Poland!", for no apparent reason

No, seriously. I'd like the villain to survive, and the main female to end up with him, perhaps because she's married to him and regards her marriage higher than Bond's flirting or misguided considerations about the supposed villainy of her beloved husband.

Cool idea for a thread.  :)

BOND
-is played by Daniel Craig
-is not evidently troubled by nor explicitly referred to recent films' "bad stuff", as above - clean slate
-smokes
-is injured with serious effect on his physical and/or mental faculties, for a bit anyway
-speaks a foreign language
-adopts an alias
-personal office is shown
-has more than one but less than three sexual encounters
-is shown eating

BOND GIRL
-is ten years or more younger than Bond
-actually ends up with Bond at the end in a romantic clinch
-has an ordinary name
-is played by a "bit of an" unknown
-appears in swimwear at one or more junctures

VILLAIN
-is younger than Bond
-is female
-is the last of the villains seen dying
-appears in the first hour of the film
-is associated with Quantum
-personally tortures Bond
-faces off against Bond in some sporting or gambling pursuit

Once the other poll choices that were alluded to are added, I'll try to come up with a more in-depth idea as to how all of these elements would fit together.

In Bond 24, James Bond....

- is played by Daniel Craig.

- is evidently troubled by or explicitly referred to disturbing incidents of the recent films e.g. Vesper's death, Quantum Organisation, the ostensibly tragic events of Skyfall.

- smokes.

- speaks a foreign language.

- adopts an alias.

- appears shirtless in several scenes.

- 's home is shown.

- has more than one, but less than three sexual encounters.

In Bond 24, the principal female role.... (Yvonne Strahovski, I agree with tdalton on that one)

- is ten years or more younger than Bond.

- is not involved in espionage, even in a tangent.

- has a potentially lewd name.

- physically assaults Bond in some way, ostensibly amusing or otherwise.

- is played by an award-winning and/or "name" actress.

Bond 24's villain.... (played by Idris Elba as higher up in Quantum, a Largo type as tdalton said)

- has nothing to do with the intelligence community.

- is roughly the same age as Bond.

- is male.

- has a facial disfigurement.

- is non-Caucasian.

- is the last of the villains to be seen dying.

- appears in the first hour of the film.

- is associated with Quantum.

- personally tortures Bond.

- faces off against in Bond in some sporting or gambling pursuit.

Oh yes, sorry - bit unclear but the idea is the voter (ie not me) suggests something else - as can be seen from the lack of imagination on show in the selections offered, I ran out of ideas!
