I am incredibly, sorry. I was highly intoxicated when I made this post. Although, it is a nice bit of interesting foreshadowing for later events. 

 

The MI6 crest, represents M as a whole, respected by her colleagues. At the start of the movie.

Target 1 - Take the bloody shot. Bond is shot by M accidentally, and disappears off the grid. 

M - M meets Mallory, she is made aware of her voluntary retirement, and is told that she isn't fit enough to run MI6. Also, having M dead centre, implies that she is in the target.

Target 2 - M is nearly assassinated by Silva during the enquiry. His plans foiled by Bond. Yet again, another assassination attempt gone wrong. The first being Patrice and Bond. 

The Gun - M is shot and killed at Skyfall lodge, bringing her story to a very emotional end.

So Silva knew the events of the whole film himself and told M via cimputer? The crafty swine!!

 

Good eye, even though intoxication can easily craft such an idea!

Hmm.. personally I am not sure if that really means anything, I mean how could Silva know that his plan was actually going to work out.

I'm pretty sure there's no plot reference in the symbols - simply threats from Silva towards M and the British government. Interesting idea though.

I'm not saying Silva knew that his plans would work out so well, it's just a nice bit of foreshadowing I found. Placed by the production team maybe, just for the fans. Nothing too special.

I think your interpretation is closest, if one can read anything into it at all. Silva warning M that he has MI6 and her in his scopesights. One thing is certain though, in the end he didn't live to claim the jackpot prize.

Exactly how I see it too, Odd Jobbies. First and foremost it's Silva taunting M, showing her what he's going to do. At this point MI6 has already been attacked, with them going underground like rats. Next he wants to kill M. He has the chance to do so at the enquiry, but couldn't bring himself to do it.

That would be awesome, but I think the folders are "Backups", "Reports", "AntiVirus", "Mail", "Reference" and "Library."

 

At least that's what I made out if you're talking about the folders on the right of the desktop.
