In two years it will be 2015 - "the Future!"
How much will it resemble the Future as predicted in Pt 2?

I'd actually like a 'Cafe 80s'. And check out that vintage Mac at the antiques store!

Depends, do people wear 2 ties and their pockets on the outside?

"Where are the flying cars? I was promised flying cars!"

This has to be the biggest dissapointment for film fans, and 'BTTF' fans especially, as we wait with baited breath for those things we were teased with in a future 2 years away.
The flying cars. The hydrating pizza oven. The multi-screen television. The self-drying jacket. The fashion.
The hoverboard!!
A great series, full of imagination and great writing. My favourite is 'Part 3', I just love the Western theme and the train finale.
They're all great and, thank god they've not been touched upon for a remake or re-boot or sequel...! Have I just jinxed this...?

Anyone played the PC game?
Looks quite fun actually - no idea what you have to do mind you. Almost like 'Tales Of Monkey Island' vibe point and click adventure, which is always a winner.

Well, there was a brief fashion, just after punk and right before grunge, ca 1987 to mid 1989, when wearing your tees and sweats turned on the outside was the thing to do.
But then that was also the time when grown men left the Armani/Gucci/Liberace-labels on their jacket sleeves and wore ties with polo shirts...

thecasinoroyale, extra big note: it's iPad only. (And I believe iOS 5 or later.)

Shame, but it does say on Amazon.co.uk you can get the PC game for about £10 with all 5 episodes that make it one game, just like 'Tales Of Monkey Island'.
Tempted...

My hope for 2015: no remake of "Back to the future"...
The original (first) film is one of my all-time favorites. I remember watching the second film in a night preview, being... well, a bit disappointed by the darker, frantic tone and the lack of Crispin Glover who was so important for the first film. And then, waiting for the more mellow, predictable third film, my expectations were lower - yet I did not really enjoy it too much.
Of course, I have the blu ray-set. And one day I will revisit all three films. Maybe my opinions on the second and third film will change, with no too high expectations.

I played it on PS3. It's not bad at all. Definitely fits with the storyline.

Back to the Future the Game for Wii sounds cool actually. Would actually give me a reason to play the Wii.

Sorry, it isn't. If you have an iPad or a Wii or a PS3, you can get it. I have two episodes on the iPad, but maybe I should get the Wii version too. I don't know.
I can't recommend the movies enough. It's confusing with the time travel explanations, but I think you'll love it. Plus, the second movie is great for how the filmmakers envisioned 2015... well, apparently some of that was for laughs.

How many of them are there?
Posted 25 January 2013 - 12:26 AM
There are three movies. Cleverly enough, the sequels are 'Part II' and 'Part III'. Wow! Subtle!
Anyways, you'll want to watch them in order, so that you don't get discombobulated (confused). And there's a lot of story to take in as well. But you should be fine.
Also, if you're curious, the games have I think 7 or 8 episodes. There's either a retail version or a downloadable version, the perks of the retail version being that it has all the episodes.

BACK TO THE FUTURE was THE film during my teenage years. Just to think that young people today don´t know it makes me feel very, very old.
