From back in the days when a VHS tape wasn't as affordable as they are now... :) recording the audio off the TV was the obvious option. I wish I still had the vision, these photos will have to suffice.

Thank you for sharing this!  Dalton's wonderful, resonant voice can certainly carry an audio interview.  It is a shame he has not done more audio books.

I didn't know until compiling this how lovely Cathy McGowen was. I can see why he liked being interviewed by her! I used to have a clip of them introducing Paul McCartney to a huge crowd at Knebworth '90 but that's long since vanished. It seemed a rather random choice to have a local tv host and a Shakespearian film and stage actor introducing one of The Beatles at one of the country's biggest music gigs. Although he did sing Live and Let Die, Dalton made no reference. I'll keep looking - it may be on a cassette of mine somewhere...

You can just about hear Dalton's intro on this clip. The crowd wanted blood...
