First of all, does anybody know where the influence of the Skyfall entrance came from - I think it might be from this place - fast forward to the Stag Gate at 1:40
 

 

also - Its going to be a project, but I am thinking of recreating the entrance of the Skyfall lodge for my property and entrance... I am in the NJ/PA area in the US. Does anyone have an idea how to do this...  

 

 

I want to do at the very least the stone sign (there is already a stone wall) and perhaps an end cap with the stag on top...!

I thought the stag was a nod to the stag at the beginning of Thunderball.

A desk paperweight is about my speed, if anyone ever does one. It's a cool deer though and I wonder if it was a custom piece or simply bought by production.

I'd love a Stag in the entrance of my house!

Well after careful consideration and work - I took my natural fieldstone wall and built up the entrance, including a slate Skyfall sign. I was going to go with the traditional Sign from the film - but that required V cut and lots of heavy stone work - so  I chose to give a nod to the sign by making it with the actual font from the Movie Poster, Main Titles  and Marketing - on slate.

 

The dogs are both mine - and yes my black lab was just a lucky coincidence that one of his breed made an appearance at the house in the film.

 

Now if could only get a replica of the stag thats two feet high and can sit on the wall....
