Or rather...a car clearly based on the Aston Martin DB5 is in 'Grand Theft Auto' V. This is excellent news, as there's always been quite a number of mods of this car for the previous games. It's good that the developers found a way to put the car into the game officially (even if some of it differs from the actual design of the real DB5, and it will undoubtedly be named something else).

I can see it now:
Lazlow: and under the shifter is a red button and whatever you do don't push it.
Chatterbox viewer: Why?
Lazlow: because you'll release a section of the roof and engage the passenger ejector seat.
Chatterbox viewer: Ejector you're joking.
Lazlow: I never joke about my work.

Please let there be an ejector seat!
For those unaware, the DB5 was in a previous Grand Theft Auto game as well. GTA: London 1969, it was called the "James Bomb."

Huh. Never knew this, although that's the one GTA game I've never played (although I never got around to getting the DLCs for the last one either).
I doubt they'll call it that in the new one, somehow.

I'm a big fan of the 2D games (nostalgia mostly). I never picked up GTAIV either, the serious tone was off-putting and having played the series since 1998, I was just burned out. GTAV looks great though.
Yeah, they wouldn't call it that these days. With the original (and 1969 expansion pack) the series was still pretty low key and the cars were 2D so there was no need really to worry about any potential legal matters. All the cars in GTA and GTA London were named slightly similar to their real-life counterparts. The Viper GTS was the "Beast GTS," there was a Porsche called a "Porka," and the Austin Powers Jaguar was the "Jug Swinger." haha
The James Bomb: (Don't remember if it is functional, but notice the bulletproof shield behind the rear windshield...)

That's so awesome! I am excited that this is going to be in the new GTA. I can't wait to play this game.
