Since turnabout is fair play, if memory serves I believe Mr. Craig has full frontal nude scenes in 'Love Is The Devil' and 'Some Voices'. Both excellent films, by the way! :)

After Casino Royale proved such a critical and financial hit, everyone knew Daniel Craig is Bond.

Well I'll appreciate him as he started in a minefield back in 2006 with the production of 'Casino Royale' but he's gone from strength to strength in his portrayal as James Bond, and I for one hope he smahes his 5 film deal and maybe even one more. Never say never, after all.

Welcome back, Mr.Bond.

... oh go on then - one for the ladies.

As soon as I saw him in "Munich", I knew we were on to something interesting. Craig was edgy and forceful, in a way that surpassed even Dalton. It was something we hadn't seen since Connery. Once the first picture of Craig appeared, I was instantly excited and behind him all the way.

It still puzzles me when people don't enjoy him as Bond and favour Brosnan (and irritating regularity amongst my rose-tinted GoldenEyed generation).

I think the fact Brosnan bought Bond back from the brink of depair (as Craig did too, lest we forget) in 1995 and had a very suave, clean-cut, poster boy image of James Bond, he won over the new and old generation of fans by still having lots of elements to previous Bond actors and films.

But I think Craig was under-estimated by those stupid, petty points that he wanted Bond to go back to basics, more raw and edgier and the fact he was blond (yawn) and yes, not as obivoulsy clean cut suave and well-groomed as Brosnan was, post-Remingon Steele to post-Bond era,so Daniel Craig was the biggest gamble in the 50 years I reckon and it paid of no end thanks to his professionalism, passion and humane yet masculine edge.

Yes, his Bond gets bruised, battered, bloody and diry and his face shows the strain from the action in the field and isn't as immaculate as the previous Bonds once were, which worked in their time, but this new edge to 007 is want audiences want, and are reacting to.

So grateful he's stuck out the role after a tense start from media. To be honest, this shows his faith in Bond and his love for the role after the amount of worries to his still decent run of Bond of 6 years but now only 3 films into his 7th year:
  • The backlash before the film even came out and hate websites and protests
  • The dissapointment of 'Quantum Of Solace' after 'Casino Royale'
  • The 4 year gap between 'QOS' and 'Skyfall
  • The financial worries between the studios behind Bond

Almost other actors may have cut their losses and bailed - but not our man.

He stuck through and is taking Bond higher than ever before.

He's Bond and BEYOND!

My one mild complaint is that he brought back the three piece suit so well at the end of Casino Royale, only for it to not be seen since but even more incredibly is wearing a different suit at the beginning of QoS, which picks up directly from that scene!!!

What's odd is that while I see no evidence of Bond wearing a 3-piece suit in Skyfall, it appears Ralph Fiennes is wearing it, same color and everything. Wonder if that has any significance, probably not?

Incidentally I always assumed that Daniel Craig's suit in Casino Royale was a nod to Steve McQueen in The Thomas Crown Affair.

Where I first encountered Daniel Craig, when he starred in the 90s TV show 'The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles' in the episode 'Daredevils Of The Desert' in 1993 as German officer Schiller.

nice stashe.. and has anyone seen the Power of One? It is a movie and Daniel Craig is this really nasty person, I was shocked to see him play such an evil character.
I would get a picture of him, I can't find one though of him in the Power of One, but he was. It is a great movie everyone should see it.

'Cowboys And Aliens' is a decent film I think, I love it.

Craig and Ford together in a sci-fi western like that can't be too bad a match!

I agree. That film is getting a bad reputation just because it didnĀ“t make too much money.
