Love to see a big Jag being driven like that!

And in such a short space too. Nice handling. These videos remind me of the The Dark Knight Rises videos with the dozens of police cars in some chase. Nice to see we´re getting some good spy work done.

i was thinking the same thing about it reminding me of the dark knight rises police chase and it was a sweet get away

can we assume that since the police just let the JAG drive off like that, that whoever is driving it is working with the police?

Yep, or it's being driven by a special branch/protection officer who's responsible for a high-profile figure's security.

either way i don't think the police would let a fleeing car leave the scene of the crime if they were just called in, unless they knew who and what was in the car but it clearly was not a priority to them

1:25. Looks like Bond is running off, just as M and Tanner are driven to a safety.

I think that’s more likely to be a member of the crew getting out of shot before “Action!”

1:05 - the pigeon. A John Glen reference? ;)

Or Moonraker, I bet it did a double take at the speeding cars.

it looks like the jag almost hit the on coming car in take 2. i think its just a random pigeon and wasn't meant as a throw back. would be cool though.

I don’t think so, on Casting Call Pro Lawrence Bartholomew the Pigeon has the following credits.

Skyfall (2012) Whitehall pigeon
Licence to Kill (1989) Isthmus City pigeon
Octopussy (1983) Monsoon Palace pigeon
For Your Eyes Only (1981) Dove (character acting)
Moonraker (1979) Venice comedy pigeon

I had to google it and then I realized who your talking about, I also didn't realize he was the leprechaun in the Leprechaun series and that he was in all the Harry Potter films. Now hes in Ricky Gervais's new show.

and apparently i am when really i should be thanking him for renewing my interest in his work , my bad

Oh but the do, for example, Walter the Pigeon lived until he was 87 and appeared in many films, some decades apart.

Walter Pidgeon (September 23, 1897 – September 25, 1984) starred in many motion pictures, including Mrs. Miniver, The Bad and the Beautiful, Forbidden Planet, Advise and Consent, Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea and Funny Girl.

You wouldn’t recognise him as one of our feathered friends in Forbidden Planet. He’s inside Robby the Robot. It’s an impressive performance, made all the more so when you know he’s operating all the controls using his beak. You can see Pidgeon and Nielson on the poster, along with Anne Francis – as it says “AMAZING!”

Yes, it’s nice to see that Leslie didn’t forget his old friend Walter. But it’s easy to see why it ended up being his final screen appearance.

Unfortunately I'm experiencing some troubles to understand what the set-builder said. Could you write it down here, please?

I'm not surprised. His accent is rather strong.

In the first bit he keeps saying that he doesn’t actually know, but he thinks it might be Bond driving to his father’s home. Then he says that’s just what he believes again, but they built a road over a bog.
In the second bit he says, “I think every 4 by 4 within 40 miles of Fort William was used yesterday. It was fabulous – all those test drivers being employed.”

It is his father's home. Andrew Bond is from the village of Glencoe, Scotland.

Thank you very much, Shrublands. In the footage it is shown a low loader which has been used for filming close shots of 007 and M inside the DB5. His last statement makes me curious to know more, because it appears that many test drivers were employed in the shooting , while it has been reported that only 2 Aston Martins were on location. It is more than likely that other vehicles are in the scene then.

I hope Bonds parents get involved. It would be something we've never seen before.
