HUGE, HUGE, HUGE spoiler in there. That has to do with a door frame. And makes me extraordinarily excited.

EDIT: Oh, wait. Just noticed the Aston one. Yep, that's huge-er.

SECOND EDIT: I literally cannot believe they'd allow those two things in a TV spot a month prior to release. Wow.

Wow, I can't believe they showed that and the red doors are in this one which is pretty cool. And it appears Bond does wear those glasses in the film.

surely a tv spot wouldnt give much away huh?

I wonder if screenshot number 2 has any relationship with the screenshot of Bond walking through the door.

This is definitely the Bondiest trailer so far. But do the tax-paying citizens of Britain realize that MI6 is using giant ice cream sandwiches for doors?

Begins with the music from CR and ends with the music from the second/international trailer for Skyfall.

We have known about it for a while though, that review has zero credibility.

Well call me Silva, that was bloody amazing!

A rousing intro with the Bond theme, already very Bond like a wonderful set-up with M and Mallory's dialogue.

"007 reporting for duty." sounds much more correct in context walking through THAT door, and thumb over the gear-stick? YES PLEASE!

Wonder who's in the passenger seat...? And that shot of Bardem at the end pointing the gun...he looks pretty depserate and vengeful I have to say.

What a way to end the spot though... don't think Bond has ever looked as bad-[censored] firing his Walther since the Dalton era..! Not long to go now!!

And does anyone else find the sound of the digger pulling off the rear of the train cabin noise pretty amazing...it's going to look and sound brilliant, I can feel it.

Spoiler time! Loads of good stuff squeezed into such a short promo. Fantastic.

Given the way the shot of Bond entering the (supposedly) new M's office is framed, I wonder if there's any chance they won't show who he's talking to, and "007 reporting for duty" could be the last words of the movie.

Coming in from his view on London, he then goes into the office for his next assignment. The only thing that would bother me with that, is that will this be the "Return of the James Bond" we know and love, and it sounds and looks a very iconic moment that harkens back to the golden era of the films. I thought we had this at the end of 'QOS' with Bond becoming more of the Bond we know - it seems with every Daniel Craig film, at the end, he makes steps to becoming the James Bond we know.

Is he already that character now, or does 'Skyfall' carry yet more lessons/moments that "turn him into 007"?

TCR, i see your point. But i think the problem has been that with the reboot and revenge/Quantum storyline, Bond has been too busy jetting around the world and being briefed by M in locations that haven't been in her office.

So as fans it's great to see that this time round in Skyfall, we'll be seeing a lot of MI6, London, and M's office door (and Moneypenny...?). Business as usual, in other words.

But i do see what you're saying about the 'Bond we know and love' nonsense we've been hearing since 2006. As Mendes and Craig said, this is going to be Bond with a capital 'B'! So no lessons for Bond to learn in Skyfall, though we do know it's going to be an emotional and life-changing experience for him.
