Although we all may know him as the director of the wonderful Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Mel Stuart also directed the James Bond tv documentary Happy Anniversary 007: 25 Years of James Bond. I personally love this documentary, especially the fact that Roger Moore did so much participating in it.
Mel Stuart died at the age of 83.
Mel Stuart's mark was made and will always be remembered for Willy Wonka, but he was also apart, in a small way, of the Bond world.
