Does anyone here remember a black and white interview 'Cubby' Broccoli gave where he compared James Bond's quick-witted licence to kill powers with those of the cowboy in a Western film where he had to wait until "the other man draws the gun"? I remember seeing this, have it on video, but I can't for the life of me remember which TV Bond programme this actually came from? Anyone remember this or could provide the whole quote? It always struck me as a very interesting analogy to make between secret agent and cowboy.

I think the quote may be from an interview that was used in the Dr. No documentary on the Dr. No DVD.

Oh, thanks. I have that DVD, but have yet to see the documentary. Thanks so much for your help.

I've checked the Dr. No DVD Documentary and can't seem to find it anywhere there - do you know where exactly this Broccoli interview appears?

Can anyone help me find this piece of footage either on one of the Special Edition DVDs or on a Bond documentary - I need it for an article that I'm working on.
