Bond continues gracing covers and gathering publicity. Thought I'd post this here. Sounds like there is an interview with Mendes. We'll see if it's worth while.

Broccoli reveals that Albert Finney plays a mysterious character "from Bond's past."

Besides that their are 2 new photos; one of Bond on a bike and Bond and one of Silva talking just like in the trailer. They have been posted in the Skyfall image thread.

When this issue surpose to be in stores. The last two days I went to two of local Walgreens and a Safeway, and did not see it at all. I only saw the ones that for Aug. 3 on the cover is about Doctor Who and the July 27 one that about the TV series Dallas with Larry Hagman on the cover. I have not gone to Barnes and Noble, Luckys, Best Buy or Target to see IF they have it.

I'd keep looking. I had to try three stores before I got it, and they only had three copies.

I picked it up this morning at Barnes and Noble.

I went to about 6 or 7 stores and had no luck. My dad just picked up three copies for me. The weird thing I noticed when he dropped them off was that two had the titles of the films as a border around the cover and the other copy didnt.

I go to the mall every Wednesday to pick up the newest comics. I'll stop by the bookstore there and pick up a copy if they have it. Sounds pretty neat.

Nice pic of Dalton from his 1986 screen test in this issue. I've never seen that. Don't think I've even seen any pics from Dalton's screen test.

Had to laugh at the picture of Roger Moore loading his PPK in the "007 Behind the Scenes"article. Only problem is it's his Smith & Wesson revolver from the film.

I figured it was just Skyfall. Nice to see they're celebrating the Fiftieth anniversary as well. You'd think they'd do it in November though.

I believe the only news about Skyfall from Mendes was that he has been editing and cutting the film for 6 to 7 weeks and is going to have it ready in 3 weeks to show the studio.

I looked at this on the weekend and decided not to buy it. There really wasn’t anything substantial in the magazine that was worth purchasing it. And for Mr. Mendes…. he just struck me as superficial.Just spacy and juvenile.

Skimmed through EW while in a airport new stand. Didn't get to read the interview with George as the newstand was crowded with people. Saw their review of OHMSS and was glad it was a positive one.

Is it just me or does Pierce look like some sort of cheap night club owner on the cover with Halle Berry? Overall the first row of those covers look quite weird. On the left, Pierce seems to channel Ewan McGregor, while Craig's pose and stare are all wrong.
All the other covers are pretty cool though.

I've got the one on the right of the top row with all the Bond covers, I didn't realize those were fantasy covers though. Very cool Zencat.
