Nine Film Bond Retrospective in Washington D.C. Area

The American Film Institute’s Silver Theatre will be presenting nine Bond films to celebrate the series’ 50th anniversary. The Silver Theatre is located at 8633 Colesville Road, Silver Spring, Maryland, just north of Washington D.C. Here is the schedule:

Doctor No, Sat, Jul 21, 5:30; Tue, Jul 24, 7:00;
Casino Royale (2006), Sun, Jul 22, 4:10; Mon, Jul 23, 6:45;
From Russia with Love, Sat, Jul 28, 7:00; Tue, Jul 31, 7:00;
Goldfinger, Sat, Aug 4, 3:30; Tue, Aug 7, 7:10;
Thunderball, Sat, Aug 11, 5:55; Tue, Aug 14, 7:00;
You Only Live Twice, Sat, Aug 18, 4:15; Mon, Aug 20, 7:00;
On Her Majesty’s Secret Service, Sun, Aug 19, 7:45; Tue, Aug 21, 6:45;
Diamonds Are Forever, Sat, Aug 25, 3:45; Tue, Aug 28, 7:00; and
The Spy Who Loved Me, Sat, Sep 1, 4:15; Sun, Sep 2, 6:00.

I live about 15 minutes from the theatre and hope to catch several of the films.
The Bond films are a part of Spy Cinema series the theater is running from July through September. Other film’s to be included in the series include several Hitchcock films, a couple films based La Carre books, The Bourne Identity, and the 1928 silent film Spys.

Thanks for sharing this. A great line-up of movies. TSWLM is at the top of the viewing list for me. It's been far too long since I've seen it on the big screen.

Cool. This should be a great run of Bond films. Wish we had something coming to the midwest!
