I see we now have "warning points". Look at the sidebar to the left of our posts and again on our profile pages.

Jim will likely make good use of this feature.

What are these for?

I assume to warn us when we've been naughty, disruptive, or when we have annoyed the easily annoyed mods here by merely existing.

Evidently not.

I find that warnings don't work. One may as well go for the instant removal. Warnings are just a way of avoiding the issue.

My mom used to warn me about bad behavior. Never worked. Slap on the wrist by Jim or others wouldn't do much.

Warning points are probably a feature of the current skin, I suppose. Don't think they are any use.

On the otherhand, I find it amazing I can remember that far back to what is like to be confronted on a daily basis with all the warnings I have incurred or earned.
