The MI6 Incident...

Although, I've just realised something...
After reading this a few days ago...
The action shot on the bridge will be seen at the beginning of the film, when M's car is blocked from getting close to the famous MI6 building by police. M and Tanner watch in horror as an explosion rocks the area. The fireball will be a digital effect, unlike The World Is Not Enough when the production built a large scale replica of the front of the building in order to blow a hole in it.
... I've just realised that we haven't had any reports of people fleeing in terror, or screaming at the MI6 bulding, during the filming there. Will this be added in later? Considering they're filming outside the real MI6 Building, then there must be some law against people screaming and running around there. You would think if a massive explosion happens, then really M and Tanner should be thrown to the ground due to the shock waves. I wonder if they'll build a bridge at Pinewood to do this, just to get the reaction shots.
But yes, I have a feeling that this will be a fantastic scene. A brilliant start to the movie. What are your thoughts on it?

Based on the videos of filming, M and Tanner get stopped halfway across the bridge and watch on as the attack takes place. So someone obviously knew enough to stop traffic.... I've just realised that we haven't had any reports of people fleeing in terror, or screaming at the MI6 bulding, during the filming there. Will this be added in later?
It could be that the scenes of the people running around in terror were shot at Pinewood. If, for example, the explosion whent off in the lobby of the building, then they should shoot it on the sound stage.

Are there possibly two attacks in short order - one against civilians and one agianst the SIS building?

Where were the scenes with the injuries - it was very early on in the shoot. I got the impression that it was nowhere near the MI6 building.
Are there possibly two attacks in short order - one against civilians and one agianst the SIS building?
The gruesome injury photos surfaced along with the first Smithfield stuff. But there had been a bit of scattered filming around London that weekend. Some work had been done on the South Bank, so who knows where it fits.

Can't wait to see the extent of this attack on SIS, and possibly more of London too. Very current in today's climate I think. Very real too.

Bond running about London with an earpiece is making a lot more sense now, since the attack was directly on MI6 itself, Bond wouldn't give a damn if he was stepping on MI5's toes by going after the perpetrator.
While it is true that they've been filming in London an awfully lot, it seems like it's all part of the same sequence. So therefore I am predicting that, while yes they've been filming a lot in London, the film is not going to be London heavy.

Would be interesting if M ordered the attack on MI6 herself, in order to cover up something she's done.
That, however, would make her the villain, and I donĀ“t think that this is the way she will exit the franchise. But it might appear at first that she did.

A false-flag attack, you say?Would be interesting if M ordered the attack on MI6 herself, in order to cover up something she's done.
I don't know. I can't really see M ordering an attack on MI6. Especially if it killed her own staff.
