Perhaps less than a minute of Bond skulking around the darkened corridors and finding Ronson's body slumped in a chair, and then wall-to-wall action across a variety of modes (car, motorbike, train, etc.) for the next 10 minutes until Bond carelessly falls off a bridge... It should be quite a ride.


Yes, a fast, fun pace which comes to an abrupt conclusion. It does end the sequence on a down note, but flowing from there into Adele's (yes, I'm very sure of that) ballad, which is meant to be powerful and melancholic, will make it all the more effective. And of course Eve's shot lends itself to excellent material later on with Bond questioning his place in the world, and his ‘resurrection’. I gather the poor aim is the reason behind her realising she's not quite up to field work, thus being relocated to office duties?

Yes, I'd suspect that's the reason for Eve's move into headquarters, although the change is perhaps put into place by her superiors (M and/or Mallory) rather than her deciding she's not up to field work. It will be interesting to see the dynamic of her relationship with Bond after the incident, and whether she expresses genuine remorse and contrition, or sees it as the sort of thing that just happens to go wrong from time to time.

I've really enjoyed reading this site over the past few months. As a US resident, it saddens me that I have to wait until the 9th to see this movie. I've read all of the spoilers I can find though and that only increases my anticipation.

I'll probably see this movie in a local Movie Tavern so I can enjoy a few adult beverages during the movie. I'd love to know what Bond drinks and when. I'm guessing due to what has been posted here so far is that he starts with a Heineken, then has a Martini in Macau, and then does he drink any Scotch? It'd be fun to mirror his drink choices throughout the movie.
