Don't worry about it. :)

It's not that difficult really, It's just a case of putting the clapperboards in order.

Very good work from everyone who keeps snapping clapperboards!

If Scene 22 is M and Tanner driving down Whitehall, I guess they go for a meeting with government officials for some reason relating to the events of the pre-title sequence, and upon their return to MI6 Headquarters afterwards, the building is attacked (Scene 30).

That is my thought, too.

Bond and M in Bonds flat sounds like it could be a very good scene. I wonder if there's a nice heart to heart chat involved, a nice change from the "I thought I could trust you." conversations we've had for the past two films, and more in tone with the Bond and Mathis plane scene in Quantum.

Very much so. Wonder if it's more a case of M asking Bond for help, or Bond taking the initiative to take M up to Scotland. Depending on the angle of that bit of the plot, it could be quite an interesting tone for the scene.

P.S. Matthew, are you able to add Scene 22 to the original post, plus add in the speculation that the "room full of mystery" is an interior of the Scottish manor or chapel? Thanks!

Sorry about that! It's updated. Must've overlooked that post. :)

Also, I have a feeling that the PTS will be Bond heavy, and after the main titles, we don't see Bond untill after the MI6 explosion. Where M brings him in.

My theory is...

PTS
Main Titles
A scene with Javier (Like Le Chiffre and White in Casino Royale, although I'm hoping that we're not introduced to Javier later on in the film, so the explosion will be sudden and unexpected)
M and Tanner, maybe Clair Dowar, Finney and Fiennes
MI6 Explosion
Bond brought back into the field after the attacks. (Bond with stubble in the SUV will be the first time we see him in the film, bar the PTS)

Also, I wonder where Turkey fits into the whole structure. We know that Istanbul is the PTS, but London seems to be dotted throughout Skyfall, so it's hard to tell. Could it be the climax? It looks as if Shanghai is the first big location we go to after London. Scene 63 is where the office scene is, and there's a large gap, right up untill Scene 120 untill we're back in London again.

My guessing is that Turkey is pretty much before Scene 22. Just a matter of whether there are two different sets of Turkish scenes, Istanbul and Southern Turkey, at different points in the movie. If the action returns to Turkey, then I'd guess there must be a significant plot point relating to the country, unless it's doubling for somewhere else of course.

Scottish Highlands - Scene 137
Interior of the Scottish Manor or Chapel - Scene 142
POSSIBLE Yacht scene - Scene 165
London Rooftop - Scene 172

Now we're just getting silly.

I read a while ago that the production had aquired a large yacht for filming. Possibly Bardems lair. Could be a small scene with him.

Hmm, doesn't really look like water to me. Not sure what it is though. Interesting that it's a Night/Exterior scene, which has probably been shot on a stage at Pinewood - perhaps a fairly large set piece then.

I assumed it was a sunset, overlooking the ocean. I could be wrong, though.

Yes, and it’s being used in Turkey - Which is where the first 15mins takes place and possibly a bit more in act 2.
Nothing in the above photo indicates a yacht.

That's why I said it was a POSSIBILITY and not hard fact. It looks like it's in the middle of the ocean, overlooking a beautiful sunset. So the Yacht was my first assumption.

My new theory, and one I'm settling on, is that it's a model shot looking across a Scottish Highland landscape and/or frozen loch towards a burning manor house.

The light's strobing too much for a sunset, plus the scene's set at night; I think they'd consider a sunset as a daytime scene.

This is what I think too.

I've posted something like this in the image thread. I also mention the unused Goldeneye material.
I think the frozen lake/loch could be very important here (if that's what it is)

There are a 101 things it could POSSIBLY be. A yacht not included in this part of the film is quite low on the list, I would have thought.

How do you know it's not included in this part of the film? For all you know, it could be. The Yacht could easily be Bardems lair. Nothing to stop us checking in on him looking pissed off. Just because this section of the film is set in Scotland, doesn't mean that they wouldn't go back to what Bardem is up to after lets just say, the failed attempts on Bonds life.

I don't know, obviously, But I have no sensible reason to think that this has anything to do with a yacht.

I think based on the little information we have - which is that a Turkish-registered gulet has perhaps been hired for filming in Turkey in May - we can discount that same vessel being involved in scenes set in Scotland, most likely filmed at Pinewood today. For my money, the image shown in today's clapperboard image is 90% likely to be set in Scotland.

Yes, my assumption is - this is a model to be used in the Scottish sequence. Possibly a very large mock-up at Pinewood. The reason for building it in the studio, is that it’s part of an action sequence that would be almost impossibly dangerous to stage on a real frozen loch and would require specific weather conditions. All of which has made them create an artificial environment.

That does not look anything like a yacht; it's square, with windows.

If I recall correctly, they weren't doing any filming at the manor house until March... but, if this is a miniature, why isn't there anything on the clapperboard that says so? :-/

Well, just for fun...

What if the "1" is not a "1", but a bar. Take a look to the one behind "Take". It has a - on it... and the other hasn´t.

That would take us to scene 65, just after Shanghai "hunt"!

Probably it´s not this way, but I think this clapperboard thing has reached its limit...

I don't think I'd properly computed the fact that we don't actually really know anything about the presumed middle-third of the movie. With the exception of the particularly unilluminating clapperboard of a computer screen graphic (97), we have no scene numbers between the Shanghai office (64) and Charing Cross underground (120). That's a whole lotta movie. I know others have previously suggests it, but I guess that one of the Turkey sequences will have to fit in there - presumably the train stunt scenes - and Istanbul alone will be the pre-title sequence.

I suppose it is possible that Turkey could double for parts of China. At the November conference, Sam Mendes said the film would be shot in Changhai and in "other parts" of the country. Those plans appear to have been shelved for the time being, but they may simply have been moevd to Turkey. We know that filming in Turkey will take place in Istanbul, the Turkish Riveria and near Adana. All three are wildly different in terms of geography. The scenes near Adana could stand in for the western parts of China, which are hot and somewhat arid, and there is an Islamic presence. I think Turkish people could easily stand in for the Uyghur people if needed, in the same way that Chileans doubled for Bolivians in QUANTUM OF SOLACE.
