Nice. Was thinking of starting something similar myself. Will you be okay to update the first post in the thread as we learn more scene numbers?

Seems worth noting that the Trinity Square scenes are intended as Whitehall.

My very rough guess on locations:
Turkey - London - Shanghai - London - Scotland - London

A lot of empty real estate left. Really curious about what we'll get for clapperboards in Turkey. I wonder if it'll be utilized in the film twice?

I don't think the London rooftop is the final scene.......there must be more than that...

Pretty confident the rooftop scene is the final scene.

In my script for CR, scene 172 is Bond snapping back to attention when Mathis asks him "Any ideas?" at Lake Como. That is roughly the two hour mark. I say the film ends on the roof.

I don't think, they go for weeks to Turkey, just for the PTS.

We still have all of March, April, AND May before principle photography concludes. I say Turkey may very well be used twice. A train wouldn't travel from China to Turkey, would it?

Thought I read somewhere around 3-4 weeks, but I could be absolutely mistaken.

The information I had suggested a 6 week shoot in southern Turkey, followed by 4 weeks in Istanbul.

4 weeks in Istanbul? What on earth could they be doing there?

Well, let's just say the Istanbul is the PTS, and a good 15 minutes long. 4 weeks would probably be just about enough time to film an elaborate action set piece.

My copy says that Scene 172 is Bond waking up in the Hospital bed, so that seems an ideal length for a movie. Saying that though, I'm hoping the rooftop scene is Bond just before the climax of the movie. I'm hoping he'll get the box off Eve, and not show us what's in it, go off and find Bardem and in the last moment, where you think Bond has no hope left, he'll pull out the box (Which we would've probably forgotten about), and reveal it's contents.

Thanks, chaps.

So, about ten weeks in Turkey in total. That could add up to a lot of screen time. Maybe a third of the film.

Right, I remember that, it just seems like a long time to shoot in one city.

Long shoot implies lots of action, in my simple mind.

Right, I remember that, it just seems like a long time to shoot in one city.

That four week period could end up including preparation time. If we assume it's a 10-15 minute sequence, including a stunt or two, it might not actually be too unlikely.

Right, but then there's the 5 other weeks in Southern Turkey. Also, most likely, a stunt sequence (this one involving the train). Scene 39 is shortly after the parkour chase in Royale, so we'll likely get the PTS action, followed by the first big setpiece.

Here you can discuss Skyfalls runtime, locations, scene numbers etc. I've seen quite a few threads get overtaken with this, so it makes sense to have a thread dedicated to this.

So, what we know so far....

London Funeral - Scene 35
Bond in Range Rover - Scene 39
Bathroom - Scene 45
Underground Bunker - Scene 53
Bar - Scene 59
Industial - Scene 63
Nightclub - Scene 64
Computer Display - Scene 97
Underground Station - Scene 120
Trinity Square - Scene 131
Alley / DB5 - Scene 134
Scottish Highlands - Scene 137
London Rooftop - Scene 172

I've just been doing something similar

Turkey
Scene 35: Funeral at Greenwich, 8 coffins dapped with union flag, M in attendance, no Bond - London.
Scene 39: Range Rover with Bond and Jag with M into underground tunnel at Smithfield’s – London.
Scene 45: Dirty bathroom (first day at Pinewood) - probably London.
Scene 53: Underground office - probably London.
Scene 59: Cocktail bar - possibly Shanghai.
Scene 63: Row of lifts (possibly) - probably Shanghai.
Scene 64: Neon signs and window, plus Bond with his gun drawn - Shanghai.
Scene 97: Graphic display in… well, who can say?
Scene 120: Underground stations, possibly pursuing Bardem’s character - London.
Scene 131: Bond runs into Whitehall building, drives off in Jag with M - London
Scene 134: Dark alley with Aston Martin - probably London.
Scotland Edit: New clapper -137 Scottish Highlands - with DB5
Scene 172: Westminster rooftop - London.

I have to say I've not been following the run of scenes for this reason Skudor, just sticking to the location shots. I really applaud those who have peiced together some idea of the running order.

How is the perception that the pre-title will be 10-15 minutes? That's not been done since 'TWINE' has it, something so long?

I suppose this would come under structure...how long are people estimating Skyfall will be? Obviously longer than QOS but are we expecting a 2.5 hour epic based on what we know so far? Or more in-line with CR?

Bang in-between CR and QOS then. I'd agree with this.

I found QOS too short and CR had pacing issues after the death of Le Chiffre.
