I've seen the photos of Craig at the shooting range prior to filming CR - and Craig firing handguns in the desert during QoS. But I haven't seen these before. Very nice.

These are months old. He was still in New York when these were taken.

He's probably taking aim at cut-out heads of politicians and reality television 'stars'.

LOL probably... but actually it was his bg/friend, who knew the guy, who owns that range and who came up with the idea.

Since those are months, could it still have been Craig getting ready for Skyfall. Now what handgun is Bond is really going to use in Skyfall, the PPK, PP9 or Bond is going the way of what Raymond Benson have said in his novels, one in the car's glove box and one with him. Could that tell us that Skyfall might have a paramilitary action scene?

I'm not sure if I could see a paramilitary action scene transitioning things from the harder-edged Bond we've seen from Craig into the more "classic" feel the EON folks have been touting recently... but it'd be awesome in any case.

BTW, it's P99.

Walther has a new combat handgun out: The PPQ.

Supposed to be quite rugged and accurate. Still... Ugly sonofabitch, ain't she?

Yeah, that looks like someone took a P99 and beat it with an ugly stick... and I've never really liked the look of the P99!

I'm sure it's much better in action, but it's surely not so elegant-looking.

Maybe he was just having fun shooting that sweet sniper rifle. He certainly seems fit enough! :)

Good trigger discipline! +1

As for the PPQ, it's not that bad, I wouldn't mind owning one, but I don't think it suits Bond very well. The PPK is a timeless classic pistol, so If it's gone through every Bond, then I say keep jocking it some more!

The PPQ reminds me of a bulky HK MK23 pistol.
