If you have all wondered why my original Re-recordings thread was not continued for a long time, here is your answer.

Since this summer, I have worked on recording the unreleased music from The Man With The Golden Gun, resulting in 27 individual cues.
I've sent those cues to Takehiro, and he created an almost complete score for The Man With The Golden Gun:

01. United Artists Logo
02. Gunbarrel - Scaramangas Island
03. Scaramangas Fun House
04. The Man With The Golden Gun Main Title
05. Getting The Bullet
06. Gun Master
07. Bond Meets Anders
08. Foreplay and Death Of Gibson
09. Hip's Trip
10. Chew Me
11. Titillating Meeting
12. Grizzly Land
13. Kung Fu School
14. Kung Fu Fight
15. Motorboat Mayhem
16. Death Of Hai Fat
17. This Moment
18. Goodnight Goodnight
19. Bond Meets Scaramanga
20. Let's Go Get Them
21. Flying Car
22. In Search Of Scaramanga's Island
23. The Solex
24. Return To Scaramanga's Fun House
25. Island Escape
26. Slow Boat From China
27. Nick Nack
28. Goodnight, Sir!
29. The Man With The Golden Gun End Title
30. The Man With The Golden Gun (Jazz Instrumental)
31. The Man With The Golden Gun (Rejected Song)
32. The Man With The Golden Gun (Mono Film Version)

Two cues, amounting to just over a minute, are not present because I could not create them in a satisfying way.

To hear my individual cues, you can visit my youtube page:
http://www.youtube.com/user/gkgyver

For the complete score, PM please.

I hope you enjoy what you hear :)

Great job. Only thing I might recommend is merging several cues to create medleys (i.e. like the TB album, except in chronological order). Very, very short tracks like these disrupt the listening experience, and are quite jarring on the ears.

Listening to it now - very well done. Sorry to sound like a repeating record, but you are keeping up your high standards. You say the album you and takehiro put together is almost complete, can I ask what is missing?

The short statement of the Bond theme when Bond is escaping on boat, and the cue when Bond and Hip are following the kidnapped Goodnight outside the stadium.

I should mention that "Slow Boat From China" was snuffed by Youtube filters for whatever reason.

Absolutely brilliant! Your work open doors, which should be closed for years. Just because there wasn't anything behind them! Now you're making statements with stunning results! I'd love to hear the complete score!

Cheers!

Did I already mention this music sounds absolutely great?

Too bad you couldn't recreate those 2 small cues, and also the flute in the Lazar cue is missing... But who am I to complain, the rest of the music is ALL THERE!

As you already recreated all the missing Moonraker cues, is there any chance of you doing that as a full album in lossless too?

Cheers!

I want to check with the people here before we continue.

Are you actually interested in a similar release for Octopussy?

Hello. This is my first post. I've registered with the forum so I can say yes I would love a similar release for Octopussy! I've followed all your rescores on Youtube and they're brilliant. Octopussy is one of my favourite scores. Please carry on.

Mmmm, after Moonraker & The Man With The Golden Gun, you ask if we would like more Bond music? Well, let me think, in the absence of the complete scores finally being released, I think I can say.... a very big YES! to that.

Sorry, I'll calm down now....

Another yes to Octopussy. I like the extra tracks you have already done on this one. AVTAK or LTK would be great also.

Moonraker is a favourite 007 album for me, so to have the expanded version was great. MWTGG is just as good.

Keep up the good work.

Golden Gun is amazing I haven't stop listening to it. I can only imagine an expanded Octopussy would be nothing more than fantastic with your attention to detail. I look forward to it with great anticipation. On a side note, is there a complete Moonraker score treatment as per Golden Gun? If so pm me with the details please! Thank you

I recall that Lukas Kendall said all of TMWTGG score was available to mix, but it was passed over due to time and budget constraints for the 2003 remasters.

It's a shame it has not been finished.

If I recall they tapes were a bit different for the score too. I'll have to do some digging on it.
