Hyperventilating.

Also, there's this.

movies-the-james-bond-collection-blu-ray

and this

The set will feature all 23 films - from Dr No to Skyfall - as well as a 90-minute documentary feature, a James Bond Movie Posters book and digital copies of the films.

Also included in the set will be documentaries The Shadow of SPECTRE - a look at the shady crime organisation SPECTRE - and The Story So Far, which looks back at Daniel Craig's three Bond films to date.

Hmm...excited, I am! But I hope it's just more than Blu-Ray news (for those who haven't made the leap into the 21st Century with Blu-Ray yet!)...as I was gutted about the BIG Star Wars news, only to find it was a big release on Blu-Ray.

Hope we get more information soon!

But if this is Blu-Ray only news, it could tip me over the edge to venture into the forray!

I also waited for this leap a long time - till last year, and I must say: do it, brother. It´s worth it! And to see Bond as clear and sharp as possible is a real treat!

I think my thought process is, as first I'd only invest in my favourite films ever to start with for Blu-Ray as I have over 700 DVDs so I'd need to think about that carefully, and Bond would be my first buy.

I love my UE DVDs, safe and snug in the attache case, and they look pristine, top qualtiy and great features - my only reservation is (and I guess you never know until you try), are Blu-Rays REALLY more crisp and cleaner that DVDs in a way it would be noticeable? Saying that...you seem to get more bonus features on Blu-Ray these days that DVDs which annoys me..!

Yes! Just check some of these wonderful screens here: http://www.dvdbeaver..._dvd_review.htm
The blu-rays are a feast for the eyes (especially the early Connery films) and you don't ever want to go back to watching a DVD, ;)

For those movies that get a decent transfer, absolutely. I recently watched Soylent Green in Blu Ray, for instance, and the image was breathtaking.
On the other hand, some movies are just transfered with the same master, without a proper re-work, and are utterly useless in Blu Ray.
All in all, it really depends on the policy of the studios. I trust the Bond movies, big as they are, will get a thourough re-work and deliver a splendid picture quality.

IF you have a large 1080p TV then yes, you will notice a huge difference between DVD and Blu Ray.

I have to concur with jaguar007 on this one. You need to have the right TV for Blu-ray to be worth it. I don't have a large 1080p TV, a 32 inch 720p Panasonic, but I can say I see a pretty big difference between Blu-ray and DVD (if the Blu-ray has been transfered properly) but anything below what I have the difference would be less noticeable. If you still have a CRT(aka "Tube") TV then I really see no reason to get Blu-ray until you upgrade your display.

OK 20th Century Fox has confirmed it will officially launch the entire James Bond movie collection on Blu-ray. That very good, what about the info on each of the Blu-Rays, each of the Blu-Rays's cover art and each box set's box art. When will we get the info and pictures on that at less a rough idea on it. IF not the final version of what it will be like when hit the stores.
