I didn't even know they were dating.
To be more precise, I didn't even know he and Satsuki Mitchell had split.
There's really too much information flooding since the beginning of the year!

But hey, if it was between Darren and Rachel...not a very tough choice
The guy´s rolling isn´t he? Big summer blockbuster with Harrison Ford, cool black thriller with Fincher, newly wed with Rachel Weisz, new Bond film with Sam Mendes. I guess it must be very cool to be him right now Good for Dan

Anyway, congratulations to the couple. And I give it five to six years . . . or less.

Congratulations, yes, but I'm confused on what happened with Mitchell, myself -- whatever happened to a relationship so strong it influenced the name of one of a Bond film's characters? That's a shame it didn't work out with Satsuki Mitchell. There is a touching photo of them both before the press launch to announce Craig as Bond in the book Bond on Set, Casino Roayle by Greg Williams. Missed all this break up with Mitchell, although his business is his business and I tend to keep my chonker out.
What was the character? Mitchell?? The one in QOS? Was it Craig's input?

Indeed, it was; the character was originally named Henry Mitchell (this name was used in the game version of the film), but the final film has it as Craig Mitchell -- a combination of Daniel and Satsuki's surnames, which I can only assume was meant romantically. What was the character? Did you read that somewhere or are you trying to peddle speculation as fact?Indeed, it was; the character was originally named Henry Mitchell (this name was used in the game version of the film), but the final film has it as Craig Mitchell -- a combination of Daniel and Satsuki's surnames, which I can only assume was meant romantically. What was the character? The character turned out to be a traitor, and Bond shot him in the head. Sure that's romantic...

Which suggessts, to my cynicial mind ata least, that the Craig-Mitchell relationship collapse came out of the blue and was a bit of a shock to her, and that Craigy was probably carrying on with Weisz behind Mitchell's back during their relationship.
All of which is fine by me. Many of us have fallen short in such areas of morality. But then, it merely proves Craigy is nothing but a flawed human being like the rest of us, rather than the perfect god some CBNers, particularly his female fans anyway, believe him to be
And as a Yorkshireman, Freddie Trueman class, I attach no blame whatsoever to Dan. If Mitchell, like any woman, couldn't keep her man satifisfied, he's bound to stray, isn't he? Silly woman.

I don't think too many people think any of the Bond actors are perfect gods. Roger Moore is probably the one who most consider the more moral, but then again, he has had more ex wives than any other 007 so I guess he really is not a total saint after all (pun intended).
