Here's something kinda cool. Raymond Benson and Jeffery Deaver will be appearing together on a panel at ThrillerFest (www.thrillerfest.com) on Saturday July 9 in New York City. I think this might be the first time two official Bond authors have appeared together (or did Higson and Samantha Weinberg do an event one?). Anyway, this might be one to catch.

Well, according to the bookends of this picture, it wouldn't be the very first time. ;)

But this will be the first time they've appeared together post-Bond. Sounds awesome.

I would rather have Deaver and Gardner, but alas, alas... :(

Thank you for the obligatory Benson bash that I've come to expect from the CBn Forums.

Um as long as you are wishing for dead people to be there, why not wish for a chap named Ian Fleming?

But back to reality, the event does look cool, but it is aimed at professionals in the thriller industry, rather than joe public.

Just a day pass for this event will set you back over $200.

Jeffrey Deaver was most complimentary about Raymond Benson and John Gardner in his talks and book tours. Carte Blanche evokes memories of the best of both those authors' works. Looks like a very cool event.

Yes; him, too... but I was focusing on continuation authors. ;)
