I've seen in the tube a video of the Barcelona nightclub mission in GoldenEye and I wondered, why is Bond wearing a tux in a disco? I mean, if I were tuxedoed to a disco in Buenos Aires everyone would mock at me. Maybe it's common to wear dinner jackets at discos in Europe.

It's there pretty much just for Zukovsky to say the following: "Tell me, Mr. Bond. Give me one reason why I shouldn't press this button so my men can come in here and use that tuxedo for target practice." Other than that yes, it is quite out of place.

Maybe they wanted Bond in a tux and they didn't found an appropiate place to make him wear one.
