Thank you for sharing this! Perhaps I'll catch a flick or two, if I've got the time.

I just wish somebody can explain to me why I own all these movies on Blu-ray, rarely watch them, but when they come on these marathons with commercials every 5 minutes and I keep them on all day B)

That's awesome. I watch them quite a bit on blu ray actually (aside from the 9 which are still not released on blu ray!!) and I will be watching parts of the marathon for sure.

Maybe it's the fact that they are on cable or tv is why we turn in?

I'm away from home for Thanksgiving so I always like it when they have these marathons. It's become somewhat of a tradition and something to look forward too as well.

It's too bad we don't have another new Bond film in theaters this year!!

Not sure if I'll stay up tonight for LTK, but will have it on tomorrow and Friday for sure.

Oh.. I'll prolly have to stay up and watch a few minutes of LTK too!

Is SyFy available in HD? It will be cool to see some of the films in HD! I saw some of them on Bravo HD and was amazed with how much better The Spy Who Loved Me looked than the UE DVD of that one.

Hopefully we get an HD / blu ray release of the final 9 very soon.

Yeah I feel the same way. I own or my dad owns almost all of them, except From Russia with Love, OHMSS and Moonraker. So needless to say, anytime they come on, I'm glued to the TV. I still wish they had the marathon on longer than 3 days. But oh well.

I would also like to see them add more movies to the lineup...A View to A Kill, DAD, QOS...

And why can't they put it on a different channel? SyFy...i mean common really? USA, SPIKE, TBS (they used to have the 14 days of 007 marathon).

At least we are getting one this year. I don't even think we got one last year.

The HD channel is showing the movies in pan and scan/fullscreen, which is kind of weird. Watched some of OHMSS. New discovery : Diana Rigg had freckles.

Awesome on the freckle discovery in OHMSS!! HD makes a ton of difference in watching the films!! I'm still amazed when I watch the Bond films on blu ray how great they look and how much detail is there!!!

I watched the last bit of Goldeneye. I'll try and watch a bit more tomorrow. I just watched Casino Royale and Never Say Never Again isn't worth staying up for, IMO. : )

When I saw it on Bravo HD last year, it looked much improved from the UE DVD.

Agreed. Not all of the films are being shown. Only 2 Roger Moore ones?

Could be better. But after last year, I'll take it!

I caught TSWLM & TND in HD & also noticed they were not the widescreen versions but pan & scan versions. Seemed a bit odd but the picture was definitely better than the standard def version they were playing.

MGM HD is back on the case tonight, with OP, LALD, and FYEO, they're calling it a "Roger That" marathon :)

New discovery : Rog's white shirt in OP is disturbingly see-through.
