This project ain't dead. I'm working on it!

I really hope so! I only registered here just to reply to this thread! ;)

Awesome work, btw! I came across your "version" of Moonraker recently and was very much impressed!

I for my part was hoping (until then), that the original recordings of this score would show up eventually. (Just thinking about DAMNATION ALLEY. They said it could never be found. Though, still missing the synths. *sigh*)

OK, a re-recording by William Stromberg and his orchestra of Russian madmen (and women) is also imaginable. After a very good day and too much drink. For what we MAY get in such a case are such lackluster efforts as CONAN THE BARBARIAN or THE PRIVATE LIFE OF SHERLOCK HOLMES. (Sorry, I was not impressed.)

But now you're offering a "way out" until we (may or may not) get a better official version! :)

Keep up the good work!

Oh, and if you don't mind I would like to send you a pm.

Why wouldn't I want you to send me a PM?

Isn't that what PM is for ...?

To assure you that I continue working, expect a short new Octopussy piece in the next few days, before bigger things are about to come.

Checkpoint Charlie

Finally! Thank you!

A few things to fix:
02s: the dynamics of the trumpet are not quite right. It should be playing at a constant volume.
08s: I think the phrase played by the brass is the same as before, i.e. E-E-E-B-B-A-A, not E-E-E-E-B-A-A. And it should be a little louder.
21s: the percussion should be B-B-E-E-E-E-E.

Wow, great to know that there is still work happening on this. Fantastic stuff, love the Checkpoint Charlie cue - pitch seemed a tad high to me? Also would love to hear the cue at the end of the climax where the plane goes down. I saw AVTAK the over day and there is a great little cue where Mayday is following Bond into the mineshaft just before Bob Conley gets it and Christopher Walken/Patrick Bauchau go nuts. Are you really intending to cover all of the unreleased cues? :)
