Does anyone know of a website that shows the "Casino Royale" newspaper advertisements (from Europe or North America) in the weeks (or days) leading up to its November 2006 release?

I'm interested in how the advance critics blurbs and layouts were used to market the series reboot, given the uncertainty faced by the series shakeup and a new Bond actor, before audiences got their first look.

Thanks for your help!

These aren't newspaper ads, but you still might dig these.

These look great Zencat, thanks! I remember seeing a huge Quantum of Solace banner when I was in London. Bond and Camille close ups if I remember correctly. As for Casino Royale, I have a few newspaper advertisements lying about somewhere, if I can find them. :)

Here's what I think you're looking for. These are from Los Angeles papers.

Nice shots Zencat!

Yeah, I've searched various internet sites and find it odd that no Casino Royale newspaper ads with those advance critics blurbs are around anywhere. It was only four years ago, so you'd think there's be tons of them. Hmmmm....

Ahhh, yes, that's what I was talking about! Thanks Zencat.

Yeah, it would be interesting to see how those newspaper adverts differed from the U.S. markets and the British/European markets. The marketing campaign was obviously very effective, so it's interesting to see how they would've tailored the reboot of James Bond to the different countries and cultures.

Here's a British one, from the "London Paper" on premiere day, only one I've got as I didn't want to add to much weight on my luggage by taking back tons of newspapers, back then (not entirely true, I've got an identical one from the next day, with the only difference that it omits "from tomorrow" on the bottom line). The obvious difference: the US ones use US blurbs, the British ones us those from UK critics.

Thanks Stromberg!

It's interesting which countries chose to focus/emphasize certain aspects of the film and critics blurbs, versus other countries . And also what artwork they chose to use in the ads. Probably the Italian ads played up Caterina Murino more than Eva Green? And the Swedish ads played up Mads more?

Such a slick ad campaign.
