I am offering for sale the following item:
Alamo Drafthouse Rolling Roadshow Goldfinger Poster ...
RED variant - only 10 in the world ...
It is signed and numbered by the artist, Todd Slater.
Some of you will be aware of this poster, especially it's Gold variant sister, of which there are 300 prints (150 of which are signed; 150 unsigned ).
I am looking at all offers.
I would also be willing to do a trade on this item for the following:
From Russia With Love UK Quad (Park Circus 2007 ReRelease) + Cash
Thank you for your time.
Any questions, please ask here or email me at:

Red variants, Park Circus Russia quads and hens' teeth all come to mind in similar veins of rarity. Add a hot summer's week in the UK to that mix.
I am aware of one chap only who is a qualified owner of the Russia quad, and he wouldn't sell.
Cheers.

Yeah, I know of one guy as well ... And he won't sell either ... I wonder if it is the same guy??
If not, tell him to give me a call ... Wishful thinking? Possibly!
It's interesting though, as one of the red variants has never come up for auction at Christies or Heritage etc ...

Can you chase the guy on the Dr NO Synopsis...
Simes.

Well ... Things change ...
If it doesn't sell before a certain date it will be going to Christies ...
Offers are rolling in on various forums - but I'm a bit surprised I haven't received a single offer from any guys on the Bond forums!?
But then again, it's early days ...
I've lurked on here for years by the way, as well as a few other Bond forums ...
Only recently decided to register!
I would have to reiterate what I said the last time we spoke about the synopsis, mate.
I'm taking 5 mins out of going mad with my printer/fax/copier ... It has decided to not connect to my network!
Can't get it to print a thing!

This is a stock photo, so it would be great to see proof of you having it in your possession.
Also, the gold edition is so much better, the small run of Redfinger means nothing to my eye.

I do have better images, but not head on ...
Email me, as they are too large to post on here ...
Wonkabars has, on non-Bond related forums, accused me of not having what I say I own.
He knows what he is doing by that reply he just posted.
I am not impressed at all.
There are members of this forum, and other Bond forums, who have met me and so can vouch for me.

Just because Jeff here vouches for you means nothing...I mean, good on Jeff for having a pleasant experience dealing with you and your wares, but his statement is just a drop in your bucket of credibility (no offense, Jeff, for sure).
Why do people have to email you for a privately sent photo? If you were trying to move this piece, like any other, why not post your own picture...seems like you would have much less apprehension from folks and would sell if much sooner if at all.
Also, the .jpg size issue is a bit silly, my man. You could re-size it countless ways. Flickr comes to mind, post it there and you have option of literally four sizes to pull an image from.

I know how to resize images, dude, no prob ... I do it for the Bond website all the time, so that's cool ...
@ Wonkabars:
I don't use Flickr, and do not intend to in the near future.
Not impressed means I am not happy with you ...
Because I know what you are doing ...
And from experience and feedback, not on this forum, people like to see the full size image and not a resized one.
But I will post them after this post.

I still have the original images, however, if anyone would like me to send them.
Cheers!

Why did you crop out the bottom portion of the print...you know, the part that has the important print #/run?
Is this what you mean by 'bad Photoshop' or is that an accidental reference to your skills in switching gold out for red?
But more importantly even, is your 'full size picture' policy you describe when sending images to potential buyers.
Sounds good, now can I have a full 81"x81" image of your personal Thunderball six sheet please?

I covered it up with the website's logo for a reason.

Even without your graphic in the first one, you couldn't see it perhaps...
I am talking about the second and third images. You used the razor tool and sliced it up. Why?

I used the magic wand tool and the eraser tool.
The poster was held in place by some poster price reference books ... which is what have been deleted, apart from on the first image.
As stated, it was done quickly for the benefit of an interested party, because a white background is better when showing dark images ... A dark background is better when showing light images.
I'm not going to post the images again, as there is no point, but if you really do want to see the original images, then email me.
I'm more than happy to send them to you.
Thank you,

I quite often come on the site but rarely comment however, I have to today.
I have seen the comments by wankerbars and have to say you are bang out of order my friend. I have actually seen the Alamo Drafthouse Rolling Roadshow Goldfinger Posters red as well as the golden versions that Bondposters.com has. They are 100% legit.

hmmm...'wankerbars'. I give that one a D+, unless you really are 8 years old, I would bump it up to a C-. Not entirely original, although for a split second, I thought I was going to smirk so you get some kudos for that, hence your passing grade (barely).
Good to see Adz out recruiting some more Bond nerds to back pat him on the internets...where egos are most importantly supported obviously.
baby, you are telling me that in your spare time from writing clever insults you managed to hang out with your boy Adz and see these two pieces in person!
Awesome!!
Did you manage to see his horde of Bond posters, you know, one of the largest collections in the world? Do tell, thanks.

mmmmmmmm..... Is that not too advanced for you?
I don't know what is going on here between you and bondposters.com and, quite frankly, I don't care. I do, however, know what I have seen and would be prepared to go under oath if you would like to substantiate your allegations?

I don't have any allegations.
You are defending a man who has gone over several forums claiming to have one of the best collections of Bond in the world, but refuses HIS OWN pictures and instead coughs up more lame and empty excuses that you could shake a stick at.
Not sure why you would hitch your wagon to his star, good luck with that.
What you saw or say you have seen means nothing here...hearsay is worthless. Public perception is everything after claims such as his, and at this point even IF he has all the posters he claims to have it doesn't matter any more...its less about posters now, and more about his arrogance and mindlessness, both derived from his needy attention voids he tries to fill for who knows why.

Time will tell and your wagon, my friend, will be wandering under its own star.
Do have a nice day.

Do a quick google for 'hearsay', then all will be clear.
Will do, have a good one as well.

While I know you are aiming your comment at all parts of this debacle, especially my input, you must consider that this issue is bigger than this poster and this particular forum. It has been an issue for two forums I was part of for several years...so unfortunately the drama has now unfolded on CBN, regretfully.

Shark, it definitely is sad, to be sure.

No problem, I actually wasn't aiming it at your comments by any means. I think you're the one lucid voice of reason here. It must be tough business sorting out the fakes from the Real McCoys in Bond merchandise collecting. I salute your efforts and dedication, sir.
I was more bewildered by babybond, to be precise. He can't even string a sentence together, let a lone discuss the subject without resorting to invective. That's the mark of an 8 year old.
Baby by user-name, baby by nature it seems.

Thank you for your kind words - I'm sure they are meant in good humour.
I have been following the links that have been posted with some interest and notice an invite was extended to view but was never taken up. Perhaps a personal visit by a trusted authority would settle the matter once and for all as anyone can post images or doctor the images belonging to others. What comes to mind was the subjective vilification of Daniel Craig pre Casino Royale which had him crucified before he even walked onto the set. The consequential success of the film decapitated a huge amount of Craig’s detractors and regenerated the franchise. There is a parallel here, not on the same level I hasten to add, but the proof really is in the mark one eyeball, don’t you think? There are always going to be Doubting Thomases who thrive on goading others for whatever reason - the only loser here is common sense.
As I say, using the mark one eyeball may well be the best option, would you not agree and would this idea not be worth putting to Bondposters.com?

In order to dispel all 'doubting Thomases' out there, BondPosters.com do IN FACT own the largest collection of James Bond posters in the world and are also a very reliable bona fide dealer of film posters who I can thoroughly recommend.
