Zen, are you going to provide a further update to today's updated post of 'It's today', tomorrow, saying 'It was yesterday'?

Etc.

Good idea! :P

As to updates: The Admiral had to go back to work after this, so we might not get his intel until later today. Also, I'm not sure Kevin Collette was actually there. Last I heard he was trying to get his job to send him, but he's on Facebook now, so I don't know if he made it.

Wish I lived in England. I would have been all over this! But I got nice face time with JD when he was here in LA, and we've all asked a lot of the questions we know he can answer. Not sure what new there is to mine from him.

We'll see what The Admiral brings back. No word from him yet.

EDIT: Ah! Heard from The Admiral! It was mysterious from start to finish. Not sure whether he's going to post here or main page. Stand by.

He did get one bit of key information that could open to door to figuring out the book locations. :o

*stands in CBn situation room in front of main screens*

Haven't seen things this busy since Craig was announced or the DMC launch.

Tess has been scurrying about seeing to coffee, secure links and such - "My goodness, I knew this job could get crazy, but this is serious stuff."

I assured her she was doing fine.

The Admiral and Deaver are two of the most protected men in London right now. Stromberg and I have almost overdosed on the coffee and I'm still on standby for HALO insertion if need be. A few of our own here in the US are on similar alert.

*mobile buzzes*

Yup, The Admiral is in the clear and Carrington has his back. We've got four "top chaps" covering Deaver but remaining discreet. He won't even know we're there.

:D

Once the Team gets through the full debrief, we'll have more to share.

But damn...This is exciting stuff.

You know, I'm not sure if this was a wide open press event or if this was JUST a meeting with select webmasters and fansites. The Admiral was isolated the entire time -- the was a one-on-one with Deaver. Stand by.

EDIT: This from Hodder. This whole thing really was rather mysterious.

...we invited a very small handful of people and no one knows who else was invited.

Cheers Aris! I'm a bit busy right now, but help yourself to a wee dram from my office. The decanter on the left is the Speyside 18 and on the right is the really (no, really) good stuff. Oban '46. Not the age, the YEAR. You can take the glass with you. Just rinse it out and bring it back when you have a chance. No more than three fingers worth though.

Your kindness is overwhelming, Sir! Just let me know if you need me for a special assignment!

I'm not a scotch man myself - but a nice mojito doesn't sound like the sort of beverage a Double-Oh ought to be knocking back.

Bond had one while in Cuba in DAD. It's perfectly acceptable.

BTW, could this have been the "secret mission" the official site has been teasing? The tease is still there, so maybe that's yet to come.

It would be interesting if these select people were given secret objectives from Deaver. In order to promote 'Project X' and they weren't allowed to discuss the contents of the mission with anyone outside of the meeting. ;)

The Admiral has been recovered from the field and he will be filing his classified report in an all-new thread. Stand by.
