Sounds a bit like Joseph Campbell's look at enduring themes in novels, but with a more British bent. Personally, I would have loved something more on Sebastian's process itself if he was going to do something technical. He's quite the storyteller and I would love to see a writing manual written by him from idea to plotting to finished product. But I can defiantly see how some of that might play into this deconstruction of the novel.
