How would you adapt an Unused Character from Fleming?

I'll start
Liz Krest. I would have her be the daughter of higher up member of quantum and have her learn of quantum's plan and there forth go on the run a sort of Natalya romanov for the new era. She would be American and similar in style to her character in the short story (young and a little ditsy) who should play her I'm thinking Summer Glau or Hilary duff
what unused characters do you want and how would you use them?

"Liz Krest" does not have the same exotic quality of Tantiana Romanova (I'm not sure who "Natalya Romanov" is ...).Liz Krest. And while Summer Glau would be a good choice for just about any role, Hilary Duff would not be.

Aren't you always?

Not sure you're using the character, more just the name. But, true, we've been through that plenty of times with the Bond series already so I suppose it's an idea.

I'd have him be a Quantum operative who is on the fringes of the organization, someone who locks himself away in seclusion in a remote part of Japan to conduct experiments on prisoners that are captured by Quantum and shipped into him via a human trafficking network that used to be a part of Le Chiffre's many different operations, but has now been taken over by the Jack and Seraffimo (sp?) Spang.
The front for the operation would be similar to Dominic Greene's, in that Shatterhand would claim to be working for advancements in green technology and alternative energy sources. In addition to the people brought in by the Spang Brothers' network, Shatterhand would have a Garden of Death where people would come to end their lives, whereby Shatterhand would test certain toxins and hallucinogens in the garden that would ultimately drive those that came to the Garden to end things, but would also serve as a test for new biological weapons that his research is aimed to find.
Ultimately I'd like it to end up with Bond having to make a trip to the Garden and have to combat the effects of the Garden, as it would be a very interesting visual experience unlike anything we've seen in a Bond film, and I think that it would make for a fantastic finale for a future Bond film.

Seraffimo Spang and American organized crime, underused in the Bond films. You had the thugs in DAF but they were never fleshed out as mafiosi, perhaps La Cosa Nostra doesn't have the hold on Vegas it used to but a story involving a mafia chieftain who owns multiple casinos and defense industries in Nevada as legit fronts smuggling something, doens't have to be diamonds, could be people, nuclear material, anything up to the minute could be quite interesting. Besides I just like the name Seraffimo Spang. It's pure Fleming.
Of course I'd like to see a classice Bond villain made out my namesake Von Hammerstein, played by Christoph Waltz of course. I maintain that Hans Landa was a Bond villain in spirit.
