lol
someone's excited!!!!
I was pretty down about it when i thought I would be away until friday night; but now I can make the whole thing I'm starting to get more excited....

We should really try to plan a CBn meet-up one of the nights. Anybody that's interested should PM me and we can exchange contact details.

I can definitely do that on either Friday or Saturday evening...

Sounds good. B)

Have they posted the schedule yet? Still trying to decide what day I'm going down. I'd like to see the Thor panel. That may decide it.

MAN! Now I'm really jealous.

There's going to be a discussion with Joss Whedon and J.J. Abrams! Very cool.

Enjoy, all. B)

Yep, that looks like the day to just plant yourself in Hall H first thing in the morning and stay all day. Bring a lunch, because if the lines this year are anything like last, if you leave you'll never get back in.

Yep, the lines for Hall H have been insane the last few years of SDCC, but with no Twilight/Jackson/Avatar per last year, maybe it'll be a bit better this year.
I reckon I'll be in H all day Sat, wanna see WB in the morning and cant miss Kevin Smith....

So now that I've seen the schedule, I think I'm coming down early Thursday for the one day. Don't know if I'm going to hit many panels. I might just do the con floor. Maybe we can hook up for a BBQ lunch outside under that tents like we did last year?

Excelsior!

I am long-time follower, first-time poster.
Would anyone be willing to pick up one of Factory Entertainment James Bond Comic-Con exclusive? FE I will pay $25 total (shipping to Nevada). This would go well with my Golden Gun Prop Replica. I can immediately send payment with Paypal. Thank you

I should be working everyday on the floor. Check out the Lala Land Records table. An album I co-produced will be debuting there.

Have fun guys! Lastly, Zencat - If you're just going to do a day, take the train. For what it would cost in fuel (even with your hybrid) and parking and time, it's just easier. Plus, you can have cold one on the way back. I did that in '08 and it was both money saved and money well spent.

You're welcome. No, having done the Con off and on over the last *gulp* twenty years, an Amtrak ride is just easier and parking - not just cost but finding it - during the Con is nuts. Especially if you're doing the whole event. Besides, in San Diego, do you really need a car once you're there?

'95 was a great year for me. Did the Con, Goldeneye on the horizon and then, once it was over, caught a four day Mexico cruise and did the train. What I saved on parking, gas and time, it was VERY cost effective - Even with all the stuff I bought at the Con and on the ship. One of the top ten Bryce summer vacations.

I would probably agree about the train;
It's a nice ride down, and pretty easy once you get down there.
Cost wise, it may run you a couple of bucks more, but it really is hassle free.

I do like the drive. I slip out of LA before dawn, I love the drive along the ocean, and as crazy as SD it can be, I've always been able to score decent parking because I get there a good hour before the con opens and have breakfast. I also like having a change of shirt in the car. It's the drive home that is murder after a long day. That's when it would be nice to be on train.

Yes! I can't wait to check out the Activision booth as well as the Factory Entertainment booth with the exclusive Golden Gun blueprints.
