I am enjoying the series so far, nothing new was revealed last night about Fleming/Bond. Faulks had a chat with Charlie Higson about the incident when Fleming returning home to find his work being made fun of by Ann Fleming and her Literary friends. Basically Higson said what was written here many many years ago. http://debrief.comma...post__p__874980
The "Snob" chapter was referring to (partly) Bond's choices in products. They praised Fleming's innovative approach with product placement. So obviously it makes a good headline "Faulks calls Bond a Snob" and draws the viewer in, but what was actually discussed was quite different. An enjoyable series nevertheless.
