The other day I loged out and yesterday when I opened the site I was still loged in! The same thing happened today.

The system throws me out several times, too. One moment I'm in, the next one it says "Welcome Guest"! Is it a problem from the boards or mine?

I can't even log out when I want to! I click, but when the page opens I'm still in! When I finally manage to log out, I go in a thread as a guest and when I return in the main page I'm still a member!

The display of 'New Posts' since your last visit also seems to have attracted a major bug. First of all it displays threads that I've already read as 'new'. Secondly (and more serious) an accessed thread isn't shown properly, thew display missing at times several posts. You only get to see those if you 'refresh' the page.

Again ditto, and I often don't get a refresh of new posts when pressing refresh

Can't seem to post or edit posts the way I used to. Am told to wait 45 seconds for minutes on end. It's all gone weird, basically. B)

Hm. Interesting. I haven't actually experienced anything out of the ordinary since the search function broke.

Strangely, it seems I can post in every thread bar "What movie have you seen today?", for which I get an eternal Wait 45 Seconds flood control warning.

This is especially vexing as the WMHYST thread is practically my home at CBn.

ETA: No, I'm banned from other threads as well. Most odd. Is this the mods' way of curbing my admittedly outrageous post count? (Just kidding. :) )

Just don't deny me access to the Rambo thread! B)

Can you let me know if you still experience the problems? I've disabled the database cache.

Right at the moment everything seems to work fine! Disabling the cache seems to have done the trick.

EDIT: There still seems to be a delay with 'last posts'. For example the forum page gives your post as last post right at the moment. But called the thread shows up correctly, including this post.

I just came into this thread & only the first four posts showed. I had to refresh it twice before the rest of the posts showed up.

I accessed it via the 'New Posts' list where your last entry was listed. Got the complete(?) thread right at the first time. Still, seems to be some bug somewhere hidden...

EDIT: UPS, seems 'flood control' has taken over. Keeps me from replying in another thread since five minutes or so. There would seem to be a major-Alien-sized monster bug at large here.

I just found out that if you refresh the flood control page you get to the usual reply page. So if you happen to encounter that problem, try 'refreshing', and it should work.

Things still seem a little buggy. I've been on CBn for about five minutes and have had to log in four times.

Also, trying to edit posts is a nightmare.

Strangely enough, I haven't had to log in again and also was able to edit. 'Flood control' only kept me from writing new posts. But that one also hasn't happened since my last post in this thread.

Anyway, 'Something is rotten in the state of Denmark' and today Denmark happens to be lodging at CBn.

It's worse than that. CBn has turned into the last half hour of DISTRICT 9. B)

Same, plus today I am not getting the latest version of a thread when clicking a main page link, and have to refresh.

Obviously CBn is very very weird those days...
- problems of cache: I have to reload a page several times with the "maj" key down to see the actual state of the "last posts", instead of something hours or even a day old
- problems of log-in / log-out: even though I log out, the site sees me as logged in when I come back on the "forum" pages. I could live with that, BUT when I click on the "New posts" link, then the site considers me "not logged in" and kicks me out, asking for my login / password (but the "today's posts" link works).

Good luck to the admins!

There’s some kind of strange encryption taking place on my posts. I’ll make a few comments here and there in various threads, and when I go back through “My Moneypenny” to read them, I find that I sound like a total idiot.

Any advice?

Oh, and I’m also experiencing the ‘refreshing’ issues noted above.

Found the problem.

Clearing your browsers cache should fix the problem now. If you need help doing that, please post your browser and version number.

In the menu bar of your browser, there should be a menu either with a question mark (?); in this menu, you probably have a line beginning with "About"; if you click on this line, you should see a pop-up window with the details about your browser. For instance, mine is "Firefox, version: 3.5.2".

And kudos, Admiral! As far as I am concerned, CBn is working very fine now B)
